i rest my case..........i would like now to call jagex to the stand! only they know the true numbers on how many people played runescape in 2008 or 2009 or 2010 all of wich had a grand exchange! my point being that the grand exchange will not ruin oldschoo runescape! oldschool runescape wouldnt be called oldschool if it wasnt for the evoultion of combat!! there used to be a lot more players that played this game before the eoc came about!! now you tell me what ruined runescape?

Actually if you type into google "google trends runescape" and look at the graph, you can see that 2007 hit the peak of people's interest then declined from there. If we look at what happened after June of 2007, the peak, we can clearly see a dip (October 2007). This was leading up to right before GE came out....wierd? Then people thought, alright maybe this "could" be good, which brought back interest in December 2007. Sadly they were mistaken and runescape has declined in interest since then and has now flat lined. Google has the data, Jagex, you have the data, and now everyone can look at it. So using statistical data, I answer your question with The Grand Exchange. Final answer.

I support a full GE system because, right now, the trade post makes it easier for scammers to lure someone to world 1 in 07 and try to item switch them. I've tried to buy certain items a few times and have had attempts made at this most of these times. A full GE style trade post will at least eliminate some of these attempts.

People left because of free trade and wilderness removal. that's why they left. Don't blame grand exchange for player decrease when it was clearly the removal of wilderness and free trade. There wasn't even a riot for grand exchange.....

Notice how trend goes down after free trande and wildy was removed

lmaoooooo I can confirm that the GE did not harm the game. I played at the time... no, better, I was one of the people merching barrows and dragon axes in falador park. I still remember at what part of the park each barrows set was sold lmfao. Anyway, the GE came out, and there was resistance, but people adapted and there were no riots, no backlash. Shortly after, the trade limit was introduced. And that is when **** hit the fan. There is no way to prove it was the GE and not the trade limit that started the decline, but going by the sheer number of riots about trading and wilderness, I would have to blame the trade limit. Which is funny, because I personally liked the trade limit. It was #1 money sink.

Having read a lot of these anti-ge rants that threaten to quit, I see now there is a lot more to gain than just the convenience of a GE. With these nostalgia-fegs gone, we can finally look at passing polls more beneficial to the growth of the game. Unfortunately a lot of the damage is already done thanks to the trading system etc, but with all of these pseudo-explorers gone we will finally be able to make some progress and win players back.

i support G.E. and all those who say it destroyed prices,no id did not it only made them change slightly because people could trade faster, the prices of those items where going to change any way. and yes G.E. will bring back LS and CS and iv been playing since 2002 and i believe G.E. has helped the game grow. SO YES TO GRAND EXCHANGE!!!

and idc if G.E. is in the banks or a big trading spot :)

GE is a ridiculous proposal. If you guys wanna play rs3, go play rs3.
Old school doesn't not need a grand exchange. The reason GE came out was because they made a trade limit.
Now if GE does come out, there's going to be a lot of market manipulating, a lot of spamming for pump and dumb scheme, bear raid, quote stuffing... Offline trading.. Merchants with the most cash will control the market.. You lazy as* fu**s.. Games are time consuming, what do you expect? Don't like it? Go play rs3... We don't need a GE.. I'm fine with zyb.. trading post is already pushing it.

lol rs3 is not pre eoc we want G.E. not eoc and to let you know G.E. did not start the price manipulation that has been going on long before the G.E. came out,and you want to call people lazy yes we don't like standing around for hours trying to buy something specially when we all have things to do and would like to do something other than stand in one spot trying to type buying/trading. so you telling people to play rs3 because they want G.E. makes you look like a ignorant idiot!

Why would Jagex ruin OSRS whit G.E? It was a failure on rs3 so why would you even suggest to bring it to OS? This is ridicilious, if this goes trough, i will cancel my membership. And i think i'm not the only one who will do it..

I agree with this
i agree with the fact you both do not know anything.
most of us didn't vote for old-school for the feel we voted for it because its the only copy they had of before eoc was thrown in our faces
