While the idea of the
Grand Exchange
seems nice,
its just NOT for 07.
In 07 its more
trading someone than just automatically buying/selling items
.
The best way to keep this awesome trading system, is to add buy offers to the trading post. This will keep the current trading system without automatically selling/buying items. Players will now use this MORE than **bez although the two will coexist. This will keep the traditional system of 07, and hold off automatic systems for years to come. If we add the grand exchange its the start of automatic everything.

Do not add a grand exchange Jagex, we are trying to keep RS3 updates away. However I do like the option for you to be able to de-list offers if their private is off as it is annoying for people to post offers then you have to hunt them down to trade.

Speaking analogously; I am sure many people would find riding a horse to be much more enjoyable than riding a car. It may not reach the destination quicker, but the journey is equally important if not more so.

As much as I want instant trading, there's the fact of price manipulation to consider. It isn't non-existent in OSRS, but something like the GE would certainly invite more of it.

As well as the fact that, as it stands, anyone who isn't a completely lazy noob hobo can effortlessly thrive in the game. And honestly, I think it's this same feeling of entitlement and need for instant gratification that ruined the live game. Everyone felt that they deserved everything, immediately. So along came free XP by the millions and a daily chance at godswords, rares, and 200m. One person even suggested adding a completionist cape to the SoF, and anyone who landed on it got all 99's and completionist requirements instantly. And now Oldschool is taking the same path. "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it."

I mean, come on. We even remember this and you're still repeating it. You can't always listen to the players. You're asking a group of people what they want when more often than not they DON'T EVEN KNOW, or consider things beyond a surface level. I know this won't change anyone's mind, though. GRAND EXCHANGE PLEASE! It is way too hard to sell anything that is NOT bulk. Which is very inconvenient.. I have 100's of thousands in mini stockpiles; which is far too annoying to sell in game without automatic transactions; it just saves so much time. Also, buying supplies to train a skill can take very very long..

The trading post is great, sure a few things like expanding the area in castle wars will be useful and searching for items in your inventory will be nice. but a full GE already failed.

Like Lewis says.. THIS POLL ALREADY HAPPENED. It is over. It is against the polling system and spitting on your players if you poll the GE.

I mostly pvm and skill like most people who play osrs; I'd love to see the ge in the game. Along with GE can come lootshare and coinshare so you no longer have to worry about getting ripped off for a drop on teams. if you want pvmers to keep killing bosses and using the supplies that noobs loot from our graves or merching the armour we get from drops we need ge to quickly sell loots and not have to wait around for hours or days to find a trustworthy team. No ge was fine as a noob, but as a high level player its impossible to sell things or buy things as well as pvm on teams. Honestly, i don't play rs as much as i would if i had ge. I've pretty much gone as far as i can without ge.

NO! But this can be easily fixed by being able to send trade requests through the Trading Post, you will be able to sell your mini stockpiles. For example, I want to buy 5000 Kwuarm herbs. I see you are selling 25 kwuarms, guess what, I'm going to buy your 25 kwuarms just by sending you a trade request. and I'll buy 10 off another guy, 50 off another guy and so on.

The Trading Post can work! It just needs improvement!
