As for a post pointed directly at those at Jagex, unlikey last two which was pointed towards the players community; to you Mods I say this.
Yes to a trade mechanic in the trading post if they are in your world and if you can talk with them during the trade.
No do not make it available everywhere, just go to a bank as that's where banking/trading has always been done. It's not even hard ppl their are banks in also every town!
Absolutely no to offline trading as all this does is encourage merchanting.
Definitely yes to a buying offers section! It's 1/2 of the trading!
Also can you guys make it so I can post a selling offer without having to place the actual item inside of it? What if I'm selling 200 pray potions but I need a few of them really fast for something? Sure I could not offer every last item I'm selling but it would be a nice small quality of life thing to me. Don't see why the trading post has to hold your items just to post an offer (aside from troll offers but since this trading post doesn't figure out the average price of offers posted like zybez does who's really gonna troll just to troll; they normally do that to manipulate prices)
Personally I don't think it's even a needed component in our game any further than the raw version of the trading post we already have. It's nice to not have to go to an offsite to view offers or load a dead RS forum page, but 100% automated trading ruins the integrity of saving items up in bulk, gathering hard to get items (quest items, weapon poisons, tools, etc.)
I'd rather we had more updates like background quests for the snake boss, new ways to train skills in the zeah area unfamiliar to current methods in RS, background quests in zeah building up to new master quests, balancing these new updates, a new skill even may I go so far as to hope for PROGRESSION from OSRS.
Not wasting your time to fall back into RS3s hole with talk of G.E.
