in crowded areas, the meeting up with a total stranger, the "accepted trade." Even if you get trolled, or shorted, or whatever, it comes with the package; you're taking a risk, and so is the person you're meeting up with. It gives an extra element of uncertainty and makes the game that much more fun.

Remember, Runescape is an adventure, not an automated, regulated, predictable-to-the-point-of-being-linear time sink.

Please DON'T turn the trading post into Grand Exchange, this is 'Oldschool RS' , let's keep it that way. I really like how the trading post works right now, I understand if people want to list their buy offers, altough I don't support the idea, I'm not entirely against it.

What i don't want to see is any kind of automated trading, be it G.E. or a straightforward trade option via trading post. I don't want prices to be tracked either.

However, the 'join' function and 'don't list offers form people with private friends/off' are updates I'd love to see in the game, altough some people might prefer privacy - in that case you should go the Zybez way and let the seller (or buyer if you allow for buy offers to be listed in future) state their preferred way for contact in the post - PM or Friends chat.

Oh, one only thing I don't like about the current way the trading post works is that your items (which you sell) disappear from your inventory and you got them with you altough you can't see them - the problem is, altough I might be wrong and it's not possible, can two people not trade with each other on boss trips or in slayer dungeons to trade additional food? This could be abused for up to 6 slots if you know what I mean. You "sell" 6×1 Shark for some high price so nobody else contacts you, and go do Slayer with your friend. Once you both have 6 free slots in inventory you could trade 6 sharks with each other coming from 'nowhere', just appear in your inventory.

Luckily, a poll didn't pass about a 70% mark to accept a poll and implement the update in game. It failed horribly & the way I see it, if an update reaches the 75% threshold then it is meant to be in game because an overwhelming majority wants it to be. So glad it's not "majority rules all" because if it did, than potentially 40-50% of the community wouldn't want a possible update & they might feel as though their voices can't be heard & quit the game.

Mind you, this is the best way to engage in our players & make sure the ones who are here DO NOT QUIT.
