Also, get a grip. It is incredibly tedious having to hop and meet people in unnecessary locations for a single item. People want a solution to the tedium, not one to make it an 'easier' game.

Do you hear yourself? Why would you change the way our voting system works exclusively for this update? Some people are unbelievable. You might as well say lets not vote anymore and just put the update through.

That is the direction you are heading towards. You are losing the originalists that made this game great. Look at what the main game turned into. It pleases no one which is why you guys made oldschool. You are literally going down the same path. You are going to make the same mistakes. You are slowly implementing the aspects that made the previous game horrible. It wasn't just one aspect but the culmination of all of them together.
Runescape is an MMOR** that is based on "grinding". That's where it's bones are. That's why people loved to play it. The fact that you have to work hard to get where you want to be was the main reason this game was so great. You didn't achieve riches by manipulating the game but by using real world tactics to get ahead. Even Merchanting involved the grind of just finding players and selling items at the right price at the right time. By implementing the GE you are just making the game easier.
Look at RS3, the game has been made to be so easy that anyone can do anything. There is no skill involved. There is nothing fun about a game that is easy. The challenge is what brings players in and that's what keeps them. The GE made getting money easier. Living rock cavern made mining easier. Runespan made runecrafting easier. EOC made combat easier. Everything challenging was made easier.

you already have a rs3, why would you turn 07 into another one?? Having been a part of the original 07 i remember there was literally thousands of people people playing at any given time of the day, then you introduced the ge and other updates and the numbers of players declined. I personally have quit rs 3 a few years back but came back specifically for 07 because it reminded of the old school days. Here's a quick question for you, if something doesn't pass in the polls are you going to continue polling the question until it does pass??

GE. Im tired of waiting 50 minutes for a clue scroll item because it isn't ''popularly traded''. Im also tired of people getting stupid lucky and then becoming rich instantly compared to those who grind something and don't get anything. I'm on the side of the well deserved. Merchers and bots run the game right now, and real dedicated players need to take back control. I'm talking about those real players who bust ass to become maxed or achieve a specific goal. Not to mention the easiest way for LS/CS is simply a G.E.. And i'm a PVMer and I'm sick of seeing crashers, or even trolls who scam pixels on the game.
