IF you can trade through the trading post, you will have to encounter a small fee. In many games there's always a fee for trying to sell an item, but perhaps if you're buying there wouldn't be a fee. (or let's say an item under 50k or something)
Cons : Some may not use the trading post because of any fees. This could create problems for somebody trying to just post offers but not trade directly through the trading post.
Pros :
::You may still trade regularly via getting information off of the post.
::Money sink slowly but surely.
::You may choose convenience over functionality so it's a win win situation for anybody who wants it and who doesn't.

A small fee would be something like an Armadyl Godsword and there's a 2%-5% charge when using the trading post. (2%-5% off of the ALCH value, not street value) (some items may not be effected such as the berserker ring because of its low (6k) alch value (300gp fee)
If the item is successfully sold then the 15k-(37.2k) (2%-5% alch value of Armadyl Godsword) is deducted however if a player would like to take the item back, or the offer failed then the money is returned to your inventory.
Perhaps an item dropped by a monster could give you a "free pass" to the trading post & let you sell/buy offers for free for one voucher ticket.
