The biggest value of a trading post would be to allow trades when players are offline. Having to meet up with someone slows down and ruins the experience. Why can't you post transactions that take place when you're offline??? Without it the trading post is no better than **bez which we've been using for over a year. We shouldn't have to wait this long just to get the same functionality we already have.

Zybez even offers much more than what the trading post will have. It shows alch values, historic pricing (with varying timelines), highest selling items, and more. I sincerely hope you consider updating the trading post to make it much more valuable than what you've described. People that want to trade live can always do so. Please don't force people that don't enjoy that aspect of the game to have to deal with it.

Sounds like a start in the right direction,I hope the trading post gets us away from the constant price changes,that was one of the major mistakes with the ge,prior to that prices were maybe updated once or twice a year,daily price changes was ridiculous,it's not a stock market.
what we have now is even worse,prices aren't changed once per day based on completed trades,its updated constantly based on trade offers.
bet the merchers are loving that.

Merchers would love a GE/Stock system a lot more than what we have now.

Just sayin'.

So if you have an item up for sale and log out to switch worlds, will it take your post out while logged out and re-appear when you log back in? Or will you have to manually go and put it back in? Since we will be logging and teleporting to different places for trading.

What community will it kill? The spamming and auto typing or scammer community? Most people use zybez and message a person-meet that person-trade-and go back to what they were doing without any interaction other than the trade. Might as well just be able to trade straight through the trading post and skip all that hopping and 1 minute trade meeting stuff. Its pointless to just hop and meet someone all for a few seconds when you can get it immediately through the TP and be done. Plus we wont have to stand around trying to sell inexpensive items for hours. You can still meet up and trade all you want....Shouldn't have to be that way for everyone.
