TLDR: removing splashing has ruined 93 slayer.

A majority actaully voted for splashing to be removed, that is until commission stakers started paying people not to fix it. The final poll result doesn't reflect the actaul thoughts of the community, and it was stated by some of the Jmods on twitter that this would be accounted for. Furthermore, The Smoke devil boss came out prior to the removal of splashing. Back then Smoke battlestaffs were about 3m, so it actaully isn't too bad, assuming the staffs fall back to that price.

Why tf would commission stakers pay people not to vote yes to "fixing" splashing?
That doesn't make any sense.

I actaully have no idea why, it didn't make sense to me either, but several people have stated that comission stakers were paying to bug that poll too.

Oh so you don't actually know what you're talking about. Yeah, that doesn't make any sense so it's likely false.

No, it's not a fact actually lol. That's a rumor that's likely false because it doesn't make any sense.

How is it a problem if you're not effected by it?

Being able to gain 99 Melee and Magic skills while being afk may not affect me personally, but it is a problem by affecting the game overall by devaluing that XP.

Whats funny to me is that the people who are Pro-Guthan & Pro-Splash are the same people who s*it on rs3 and how "0mg you can buyy xp lamps real moneyz mills xp coming into the game because of squeal", meanwhile they advocate for being able to get ridiculously easy 99s in OSRS.

If there was a method of afk rc to 99, surely you would agree its insane & be against it and we wouldn't be having this conversation, so how is it not a problem?

I'm pro Guthan and pro Splashing and I don't think buying xp in Rs3 is good. Therefore your assumption is wrong and your logic is flawed. Also, yes of course I would agree that afking a skill to 99 would be ridiculous, but the reason Magic or Melee isn't ridiculous to be afked is because they're combat skills which are already slightly afkable, people just figured out ways to make them even more afkable which isn't wrong and shouldn't be punished.
