Add on to the staff will absolutely make the staff very powerful, regardless of if it is "OP" or not magic has been heavily abused by splashing which makes rewarding high level magic with something like this seem a bit poorly timed and unfair seeing as how there's now a huge influx of people with 94+ mage. Venom i am concerned with starting at six and the doubling.... In a PvP situation that's a huge amount of damage to be inflicted..and if you don't have 99 hp? GF. Will venom be applicable to other weapons, such as the dragon dagger? (sorry if this has been answered already just curious).

Lastly i can appreciate that the snake boss is geared around being a solo boss, but i do have to agree that this is another bossing centered update, minus the high level herblore bonus. Not everybody in this game has a huge cash stack or the stats to spend on high level or max gear to go out and kill lucrative bosses. Bosses are already the best way to make serious GP in this game outside of being a staker or merchant (which seems sad to me). I understand that high level of dedication to attain the proper skills deserves rewarding, But we need updates that encourage and keep the journey to the top fun and rewarding as well.

The vote is at nearly 90% yes, I think alot of people want it, people enjoy PvM. Get your stats up and stop complaining, if you choose to limit your account you shouldn't beable to say a word against it...

to slay helm: I'm not complaining nor am i "choosing to limit my account". I play as often as my free time allows, which isn't much and will eventually be there some day. At that time yes i will enjoy the benefits of high level PvM, which i never said people didn't enjoy or want to vote for. You're maxed combat so therefor incredibly bias but unfortunately a lot of people are maxed cb as well. I'm simply reminding jagex that they do have players who aren't able to play on the computer 6-10 hours a day to get maxed combat in a matter of months that deserve updates to keep them playing until they can get there.

Look buddy, I'm not here to get into a debate about the effectiveness of pure PKing with you. I'm simply sharing my opinion on yet another overpowered and needless release of content. Yes, I chose to limit my account as being a 1 defence pure, and no that's not why I'm complaining. Any zerker or even 70+def PVP player should feel the same way. It's a slippery slope adding content like this. Before you know it we've got ags, SoL, better whips, strange tentacle staffs, magic damage boosting amulets and other gear, and suddenly we're back how rs combat was before eoc. When people voted for 2007 revival, they didn't vote for 2012 rs revival or whatever we're working toward right now. Sure, it still looks like 2007 and I know there have been a ton of polls, but how long is it until my abbyssal whip becomes obsolete, or barrows armor becomes pocket change?
