Amazing job guys, love the ideas.
However I feel that the serpentine helmet should not provide a chance on poisoning the opponent, the fact that it will provide immunity from all sorts of poison is sufficient as a unique attribute.
Apart from that, everything seems fine.. Looking forward to it
Actually really bummed that the venomous spike was taken out... As I thought it was a perfect way to introduce a higher tier defender class shield without just simply boring us all to death with the OH NOW CYCLOPS DROP DRAGON DEFENDERS THAT DON'T DEGRADE OR COST MONEY OR ANYTHING*****;--- that just sounds like making the game 1 tier easier (so I really hope this is not added into the game like this) but the helmet slot is one that can use some more good items!! And I like the idea of the helmet but with no attack bonuses for melee and negative bonuses for range/magic.... I don't see it being much of a success. Venomous Spike was winning IMO compared to this new helmet idea (as the other two specific drops that the Snake drops are a Range WEAPON and a Magic WEAPON its odd that melee only gets a Torag's Helmet(actually weaker than torags) with antipoison benefits that degrades.

Spike had alot less support, it was also going to be dead content - you can't PK with it because you'd risk it, it's not worth slaying with, poison doesn't work on bosses... Where would you use it?
I struggle to understand how you don't understand that a boss takes probably 5% of the time to create the whole continent and probably 15% of the time to do the whole of the next batch of slayer updates… they can't just spend all their time on the top priority because we would get no new updates to the game in the meantime, it's not hard dude lol.
I struggle to understand how you don't understand what priority means. THE PRIORITY POLL was was designed for OSRS Dev Team to see what they should work on first... WE voted for the order of things coming out...... thats what the PRIORITY means.... Obviously it was largely misunderstood if they release the 3rd place option first...

Judging by your delusional logic, you believe they should drop
everything
they are currently working on, including anything that has passed the weekly polls and just start straight away on the continent because it 'came first in the priority poll and therefore it should be the first and only thing they spend all their development time on'.

I'm honestly more interested in the "regular" drop table, I really want this boss to be a very good, but challenging, way of making constant money, im sure mod john c will work out a great drop table though!

Yeah, it needs to have good drops (battlestaffs, seeds, herbs, rune items) = stuff that will maintain price because they're either for skilling, or they're alchables.

Ok, so let's look at the places where you will use this helm.
-Bandos Attacker
-Zamorak Tank
-Corporeal Beast (maybe)
The antipoison effect would only be good for tanking zamorak (you attack zamorak with slay helm anyway, not worth going there off-task).
What bosses poison you?
-DKs
-Venenatis
-Scorpia
-Snake boss
Ok, so at DKs you wouldn't use the helm because range is your most important attack style (prime is the slowest to kill).
At Venenatis you use veracs so you won't be using the helm anyway.
You mage scorpia with barrage + trident, the -10 mage will make your barrages splash more often.
The snake boss will require 2 different attack styles so you will have to use mage and/or range. Nobody would want to do a high level boss with -10 range/mage (quite a lot).
So the best places to use this helm in theory would be DKs and the Snake Boss itself, sadly nobody will use it there because you don't want to be hitting less often for something like an antipoison (just wear a barrows helm and bring sanfew serums).
I have to say I agree, perhaps making it -5 instead of -10?
