Yes, it is needed. If you login and see no one online will probably not stay long as a new player or even existing. With less worlds it makes each world look more full and active for a new player. This is also exactly how things use to work and they would add new worlds every so often for players.

Currently there is a world with only 40 players.
Currently all but seven worlds are under 200 players.
Currently only two worlds are over 1,000.

Yeah, we truly need more servers -.-

People like it that way as then people are not climbing on top of each other trying to do various things such as woodcutting and mining that come to mind. When the worlds are crowded so are the resources and mobs frustrating new players having to constantly fight for various resources and mobs. So no more worlds is better over all for the game.

When I read the title I was actually expecting a decrease in the membership price...

Anyways, i use bonds since i refuse to pay membership money that will be used on rs3, SEPERATE OLDSCHOOL membership please. playing rs since 1976, 40 year vet cape soon

off, im an oldschool player. Always wondered why im paying for both when i only ever play OSRS.
Ruined the RS3 game for alot of us,
im sure i dont need to go into that here but what im getting at is those that are truely butthurt still over EOC will never return to that side of RS. We've started over again, got back to high lvl/gear/happydays.
WHY ARE WE STILL PAYING TO HAVE ACCESS TO RS3??

I remember way back when on the old billing site, when you had the option to pay for RSC, RS2 + that funny little game site FunOrb.
Point being how come you split the paying options then and not for OSRS + RS3 now?
Dont BS us with "Ohh we dont wanna split the community anymore than what we already have." The damage has already been done. My conversations with previous friends that play RS3 always end on the same note, "ohh yea we just got this new update that makes the game 10x more easier" me.. "Yeaaahhh that sounds awesome *mental note; why am i still talking to this person*"

you're increasing the amount we pay just after these mass disconnections we've had to endure?

What little faith some of the players have left with your game will be feeling pretty damn sore.
FIX YOUR SERVERS
and wait for confirmation from the players + wait a little longer than 1-2 weeks before upping your price to compensate, think we deserve more than this..

working on OSRS, if im mistaken by all means correct me.
Share your content team
more genorously with OSRS, tired of hearing, "Ohh we have to wait for this and this before we can get these updates"(wouldnt trust you even if you said yes to this) or
SPLIT the cost
rightly for what we're actually paying for.

if this new snake boss is the "new content" we need to pay extra for so that work can be done on it, than no thanks id rather be 7.95 for what we have now rofl

just when i thought old school was getting players i assume at least 2500 players will quit
