Uh guys we pay mor because we only pay one source. RS3 has 3 or 4 seperate sources. Besides separate but equal would bw the likely outcome. That means you pay the same for one game instead of three (classic, RS3, osrs). Good day to lose ppl since we have no bonds which ppl pay with and lose ppl who play both. Ill never understand this... for the such simple updates and content you guys poll everything with an attitude(wel do whatever the community wants). But you guys know when your about to release something cringe worthy so you dont bother polling but just releasing an announcement..

Even if there was a separate membership package for Old School it does not follow that all money from that package will be spent on improving Old School. The way companies work is that all the money goes into one pot and decisions are made how best to spend that money for the good of the company.

It's kind of like going into Tesco's and only buying items from the butcher if the money you pay goes into getting more staff for the butcher's counter.

Even other companies that run multiple games offer a discount price to just play one of their games. A good example of this was SOE before they completely converted to a free to play model. Sorry but osrs can easily self sustain with the small team we have working on it easily via just the membership model. Rs2 did just fine up until they decided to add cash shops into the game. They increased revenue but lost members as a result. We should never have to pay for development of a game we do not play. Makes no sense.

That is true but not increasing membership fees on the players who do not play the game that the membership fees are being increased for to support is bad business. I don't mind profits from osrs going to support jagex. But i have a huge problem with my membership fees being increased to support the development of a game i do not play.
