I play only Oldschool and feel like the extra money from this will mainly go to RS3, which is very unfair for people like me. I hope in the future, these can be separated somehow, ofcourse without causing too much trouble for people who like to play both.

I ONLY play Old School and feel as if the majority of my membership fee already goes to RS3, and I have a real problem with that. I would rather NOT fund the RS3 game.

PLEASE separate OSRS and RS3 membership fees. Since there are many people who enjoy playing both games, you might not need to raise membership fees in order to bring in the extra revenue if you separate them. One thing is for sure... We would discover our dedicated OSRS player base.

I agree with people here saying that OSRS and RS3 should have separate fees because I don't play RS3 at all. I hate EoC and pretty much I wouldn't want to pay (and by pay i mean to contribute) for RS3 overwhelming graphics with sale things popping out everywhere. Also agree with people who said Rs was a cheaper alternative to other computer games; I mean if gets increased to $10-$15 per month, then I might as well buy a WoW subscription.

The price increase for subscription probably wont end up making the company more money, it'd probably just even out to what its making now or even less. This would cause less people to subscribe and the money lost from all those subs MIGHT be made back from higher prices from the staying people or it might just be an overall net loss... it really seems like quite the gamble to me... really just gonna roll the dice and hope it comes out better? hah reminds me of dicing.

I have a very hard time coping with that idea of paying more money for a game that will ultimately be the same as it was before the price change. Perhaps if the reasoning behind the increase were to strengthen the customer service and staff interaction I might deem it acceptable, but purely for steady content? We receive plenty of updates as it is, and at some times it can become a burden how much content is being added while other content is killed off.

Ultimately, the only acceptable reason I can see when considering this increase would be for enhanced customer service, and a better player assistance system implemented in game.

I'm having enough trouble getting my friends to try osrs with the current price, which is pretty high. I really think that this is time for old school and rs3 to get separate membership fees. Many players, like myself, are old school only players, we'd much prefer not having to pay for features in rs3 when we don't use them. Ofc there are some players who play both, thats when you introduce a reduced fee for both games.

Yes, this is quoted. Too lazy to do it properly, but.. THIS.
