I want to suggest something, and not sure where it's most likely to be read by the powers that be, so I'll post here first.
I, like a number of other players, like to do clue scrolls. The wilderness updating will affect clue scrolls.
My suggestion is, that the actual clue scroll is always auto-protected on death.
please please and pretty please. Neither a pker or the pked benefit from player losing their clue scroll. So, why not do it Jagex!
Auto-protect clue scrolls on death!
Now I shall metaphorically cross my fingers and hope this comes to be!
THis is a really good suggestion. Respect for not complaining like 99% of the other players who do clue scrolls have done and actually coming up with a suggestion that makes sense and solves the problem
thanks Avlator, I appreciate your response too. I was talking to someone who said he didn't mind so much getting pked while doing a clue, but he hated the idea of losing the actual clue scroll, because superstitiously, that could have been "the one" - that was the 3rd age reward! - it's psychological torture - far worse than the short term loss of dhides etc.
I think it's a potential compromise for clue hunters, so that they won't be totally demoralised if they get killed, because they still have that clue scroll...
