The only way this will honestly work is if you limit it to only 5 worlds i see some peopel saying 10 but there are not nearly enough players for even 10 to filled.

this can work you need to limit it to 5 worlds and take pvp and high risks worlds out or just have one pvp high risk world.

The wilderness won't work with a cluster of people in it. It's supposed to be a desolate wasteland that occasionally you run into somebody...
Look at DayZ, servers average around 30 people and the size of the maps are like 10 kilometers in both directions yet the PvP is insanely addictive. Why? Because it's rare to find somebody and when you do s**t gets real.

first off the new magic staff is way under powered. Especially if its only for pvm use. The whip and the dark bow is much more powerful. Even the magic short bow can compare to a staff like that. If you want something to compare with a whip or dark bow you need to buff that staff up. It would be awesome if a new boss came out with that staff and a set of armor to go with it instead of a slayer monster. For example, bandos has bgs and bandos. Armadyl has armadyl c bow and armadyl Armor. Bring out a gwd boss that you need magic to kill. And have it have its own drop line. It was cool with nex having its own high level drops but it also took a good team to kill it. If you want to revive magic at all in this game there needs to be better magic everything. Starting with a real staff with something other than a 20 max... and a full setup of armor to back it up. Something that will help put the oomph behind the staff.

Also lava dragons... these people are right. There is no intensive to kill lava dragons. If i go out there planning on killing 20 per inventory im not getting anything out of it. i LOVE the idea of coming out with a new dragon with higher stats but i think it shouldn't be in the wild. Somewhere that takes some requirement to get into. Compare them to frost dragons in eoc. Maybe higher agility enter kill or certain combat stats or maybe even slayer. Whatever it is i don't think they need to be in the wild. Be like saying lets all go kill bandos in the wild to bury his bones, while risking 50m...

Question: Should the run energy icon near the minimap toggle your Run Mode setting when you click it?

Question: Should the prayer points icon near the minimap allow you to select some 'quick prayers' and toggle them on and off when you click it?

Question: Should the health icon near the minimap allow you to cure poison or cure disease when you click it, provided you have suitable items in your inventory?

'Pre-EoC' had microtransactions (xp and wealth handouts), combat balance completely out of whack, insanely inflated economy, way too many conveniences, etc.

OldSchool has few if not no conveniences, stable economy, combat is (for the most part) balanced, and an awesome dev team :)

this has to be the most ridiculous idea ever. the rune obelisk especially why do you want skillers to enter the wild so some pker can kill them with ease for max reward?


How is this update ridiculous in the slightest?

There are other skillers who have the tiniest bit of common sense that aren't afraid of going into the wild who gain massive profits from this update. You on the otherhand will gain nothing since you are a scared noob. This is a game, grow a pair.

There are 60 some odd worlds to hide in + methods to prevent yourself from being pked as well as escape. If you can't figure it out then stick to cutting willows in draynor jooby.

This is a message for ALL the skillers who are complaining about how this update is terrible or how it won't be fair when you die and lose your "hard earned" materials.

GROW UP. Even if you die once every 10 packs which is much more then you will considering how many skillers there are and how many worlds versus how many pkers are still active, realize you are able to hold 55 inventory spaces of great raw materials that are currently overcrowded in every world by botters and legit players. So even if you die once every 10 packs you get, you still are profiting at insane amounts compared to what you are now.

INVEST a little in yourself, instead of buying salmon and then complaining when you die, BUY SOME SHARKS/SARA BREWS! Ensure your safety! Pkers aren't gods! If you wear the right armor and bring the right food you can easily tank out pkers and get away!

If you are scared of the wilderness like 90% of skillers, then DON'T GO! It is very simple. There are enough skillers that aren't afraid of dying a few times and losing some pixels who will gladly take your place with insane profits because of the nil competition for the resources. You will quickly see how much more your other skiller friends who have a pair are making.

There are over 60 worlds with 5+ new resource areas, the likelyhood of a pker finding you often is not going to happen! The wilderness is BIG and takes a while to jump to each spot. Coupled with the amount of worlds and you will most likely not find a pker often. If you do, TANK HIM OUT! Figure out a plan like running into an area with monsters so they can help you get away! Bring the right gear! Bring the right food! It isn't rocket science you're just being scared noobs who want rune rocks and magic trees to be right next to the Varrock Bank... That is no challenge and not what GAMES are meant to be for. GROW UP!
