I agree that instead of removing 10 worlds you could make those free-to-play instead.

I'm interested to know about what is going to happen to the current PVP-worlds we have now (W325 and W337) once the new wilderness update launches.

Are you going to add new features to it or maybe remove it completely?
...You might even just let it stay the way it is. Which is fine!

But maybe some time soon you moderators could show us some kind of schedule of ideas you once had, or just the ideas you had at some point that didn't work out? And whenever you do plan something and it doesn't work out, could you let us know?
IN THE BIGGEST AND MOST DRAMATIC WAY POSSIBLE!

(If this is already done I'm just sorry for not paying attention... :D )

Is something like this even possible?
Or would that make things complicated with updates etc.

One thing I'd like to add. Although I don't like PvP armours and weapons, if you really have them at least nerf the VLS special. That thing used to hit 60+ through my melee armour, and 30+ through my melee prayer FOUR times and was incredibly hard to tank.

It did 20% more damage with increased accuracy while already having the best stats for a one hand item in the original game. Make it do 20% more damage OR have increased accuracy, not both!

I'd recommend just removing the 20% increased damage so it'll be
- Increased accuracy with 25% special attack drain

Since the VLS would be the best melee weapon, increasing your accuracy will already increase your KO chance a lot. If we'd make it 20% increased damage with 50% special drain it would be just a one handed AGS.

Shields look very dissapointing imo. They look like you've just re-coloured the obby shield on MS paint and said; 'ok that'll do'.

I'd rather they didn't come out at all if that's what they will look like - or atleast postpone releasing them until they've been redesigned to a higher standard.

The Dragon pickaxe seems to be dropped by every boss that is coming with this update. For the sake of variety can I suggest that one of the Wilderness bosses drops a new dragon weapon. Like a Dragon Shortsword or a Two-Handed Warhammer? Just a suggestion.

Other than that I think you've done a fantastic job! Keep these updates coming.

- Also i've heard that the firecape is to be made available in various colours. I don't even think I need to justify myself when I say don't allow this to happen.

There was nothing mentioned about any gear for pures... Just a lot of BIG LEAGUE content... YAWN ... TIGHTEN UP

How much gear can you expect at 1 defence?
It's not like you need any variety on beginner armour, especially when you unlock the next tier armour in 5mins training

Just read the blog description, and I'm overall enthousiast for the new updates, but...
To my opinion the skill level requirements for the new resources may be to high. I'll explain what I mean by this:

I am definitly a skiller, however, I am not an overall high leveled skiller. And I know there are a lot of people like me. For instance, 85 mining is still far away. If I look to the highscores, the current rank for 85 mining is 455. The mining rank is to my opinion very low and merely sufficient to have a large amount of miners enter the wildy. For fishing, the same applies (rank for 85 = 2636; a part of which are macroing). Given these ranks, I fear only a small amount of skillers will dear entering the wildy.

Ok, now I've stated my problem, I would like to come up with a possible answer to this. Why not sligthly lower the required skill levels, ONLY IN THE WILDERNESS? For instance, 80 for mining runite in the wildy, while it stays 85 for mining outside the wildy. This will MAKE A DIFFERENCE between skilling in wildy and skilling in the rest of the world. The fact mining runite, hunting chinchompas and obtaining magic logs will have a lower skill requirement, THAT will attract skillers to the wilderness...

What do you think?

What the heck is the crap? Everyone is voting yes, but once this gets put in game they're going to experience all the issues of these additons, dislike/get bored of it and quit. You're going to lose a lot of the players that came here for _2007_ Runescape.

It's like asking "Should we add cheats to the game?" everyone will vote yes and then quit a week later.

What the heck Jagex? What the flipping heck.

By the way, what about the people that have to do clues and other things in the wild? Are you going to increase the chance of better rewards for wildy clues, remove them from the wild, or just have everyone drop any wild clue they get or get PK'd?

First you say people are going to quit because of this update then you pretty much ask about the way clues are done in the wilderness....If you are so sure about people quiting clues would be your least worrys...

Also only a few players have came here because of '2007' scape....Alot of the players that enjoy this game came due to the combat this game has....Looking at the polls it clearly shows alot of players want new content...And also we had a poll recently (think about 3 polls ago) asking us what we enjoy about OSRS and most players enjoy the combat....
