OM**GGGGGG I love you mods so badly, this is the best ever!! I can't disagree with any poll questions except the staff which i don't want in pvp as you said.

PLEASE MAKE SURE EVERYONE WHO VOTES READ THE DEVBLOG, link it to the poll or something so they dont missunderstand. No1 could vote no to this. Omg bring us the poll im shaking

Don't make a polypore staff 2.0. That's why tons of pepole quit pking cause its a single casting staff that is very disadvantaged and annoying and everything about it irritates me talking about it irritates be so im done here.

I think these updates as a whole are really great and could potentially stimulate a lot of activity. However, I don't think we've completely and thoroughly addressed the single biggest concern. If you don't address this concern, I feel like all of this could just be in vain and lead to nothing.

The skillers (or PvMers) need to be able to bank frequently enough for going into the wild for these resources/kills to be worth it for them, while not enough for them to prevent getting PK'd and losing the value, too often. A bank has to be possible or close enough to rely on, while not frequently or close enough to always avoid losing items 100% of the time. If a skiller or PvMer gets killed 3 times in a row you can bet that they'll not want to come back (Unless the possible reward is simply outrageously profitable.) And if a PKer can't get a kill of value or gets low value when he kills the skiller/PvMer, then this will be pointless for them, too.

For example - if a shark is worth 700 ea, and the crabs are worth 1000 ea, the crabs will never be fished. Sharks, you can be close to a bank and have no threat of dying and the lack of running will outweigh the possibility of making 300g more each. On the flip side, you can't have a bank as close as normal, or the PKers don't have a good chance at getting the drops and making the money and being rewarded for a kill.

To be honest, I don't know how to solve this problem, I can only identify it as one.

We can sit here all day and go back and forth on these little tweaks to make it better: Lava dragons here, dragon pickaxe there, KBD lair tele - whatever we want.

But at the end of the day, if we don't solve this concern, I think this will be an update done in vain and none of the rest will matter.


THIS! A good point from this guy. Maybe a guy who walks around in the wilderness, you know those team cape sellers, having a big bag on their back.

Question: Would you like us to upgrade the Wilderness to the basic level as featured in the latest developer blog called “Rejuvenating the wilderness 2”?

To be honest... I only go to the wilderness for treasure trails or green dragon task. You got any idea how it feels to wear your best armor and have someone rush you and kill you in 2 hits at just lvl 10 wild (green dragons)? I don't stand a chance. Period. And neither do skillers. After his update, the only people who will gain anything out of this are pkers. As a non-pker, Idc about the update, just don't make any of these new monsters appear on my slayer tasks. Thanks.

~~ PRO RECOMENDATION FOR HUNTING IN WILDY~~

MOVE THE RED CHINCHOMPA SPOT TO KBD LAIR, REMOVE TELEPORTS FROM LAIR BUT NO PVP UNTIL BACK INTO THE WILDERNESS.

This will benefit ALL sides, especially skillers. Encouraging community events to form for PvE, Pking and skilling. Groups of people would kill the KBD for loot. Skillers will hunt red chins for more profit and xp. Both parties will endure damage, forcing them to bank where the pkers will await their plausible demise? :D

Tell me what you think. I expect hate, but whatever.


The thing is, maybe you find yourself becoming a pker/pvmer when this comes? You never know what kind of sides you have until you've tryed them. I think alot of you like to live safe, but inside of us there is a part that loves the excitment that wilderness brings.

Staff is WAY underpowered. Those shields need some major nerfing too, nothing above +7 for the range version please, The Unholy (Zammy) Book should not be made obsolete. If the shields don't get nerfed, i'm definitely voting against the Wilderness changes.

The shields require 60 def and probably 60 range.. The zammy book requires one def and one range. How would making the higher level shield have a lower bonus be intelligent? Zammy book is still preferable for hybrid situations. That is a stupid reason to vote no.
