The staff seems very useless to be honest. As currently suggested, It would be too expensive and too weak to be a viable alternative for all but the most specific niches.

I might suggest ditching the autocast spell for the staff in favor of another bonus; for example a chance to shoot two spells at once, or have a slightly faster casting speed. Another idea would be for the staff to have a DoT effect that hit about as much as super poison, but much faster, and for a much shorter duration(for example, twice as fast, for half the duration. It could even lose damage over time similar to how poison becomes weaker over time.).

I feel that these would make the staff competitive with other staffs, yet not overpower the other available options.

It all looks incredible, great to finally see a wildy revamp and cant wait until i have some free time to play.

To many pointless changes. Whose going to skill or boss in wildy knowing they will get PKed?

PKing should be about skill. 1v1 or team v team battles. Not freezing helpless people in wilderness for a few rune armour bits.

It'll soon get boring. Pointless updates imo.

risk = reward. if the most profitably bosses to kill and resources to collect are in the wild of course people will go in and once theres skillers pkers will hunt them, then more pkers and teams will hunt the other pkers etc. and if you dont want to risk it, then stay out of the wild.

Seems like this staff according to stats and max hit would be just like slayer darting with a freaking Staff of the Dead. Hell I max a 22 already with slayer dart and staff I think. I know I've hit 21s before.

The fact is we need a stronger staff for pvm and pking. A special attack for a staff or just make the staff use no runes and require charges like the polypore staff but not maxing as hard as pre-eoc. Maybe 35 as a max would be fine. Adding a special to possibly max a 40 on spec would also suffice.

Magic is lacking in the damage output department. Right now the staff of the dead is only ideal for pvming at dks, barrows, or killing metal dragons with chaos gaunts + fire bolt(18 max hit?)

My two cents on that subject.
