There are numerous ideas that you have put forward to us already such as the Kraken boss, combat pets, Soul Snatcher minigame and necromancy; all of which are possibilities. ^_^

looks great can't wait!1! take a look at the trade island McGee and I came up with when you start to tackle trading.

No offence to you but you would not get anywhere above a 50% yes for trade island if it were to be polled. I like the effort you have put in to trying to find a solution other than the G.E. but it's just not going to work. This isn't the time and place to discuss why.

I would much rather have some type of G.E. That way we get rid of trade bots and I don't have to waste hours trying to buy certian items or selling junk from my bank.

Hello all, I would like to say good work to the osrs team I've had a real blast since about march living the old newb days all & well. I'd just like PvP updates to come first because multi is literally dead at all times, something needs to be added to increase player activity in MULTI zones, There's already enough places to pk in singles its time multi gets a massive update. I've enjoyed everything on osrs till the pvp update which decreased multi pking from slim to none... please work on that first I remember multi pking as an important fraction of oldschool. Other than that great stuff guides and oh can you guys do something about the staff of the death able to auto cast ancients? It is an expensive staff :o

It is unlikely anyone will get banned for just using an autotyper - we'll mute them, but we are unlikely to ban them.

Roadruner426 - So, why on earth did you destroy bolt making (smithing) by adding broad bolts?

We react to what the players want and there was a large demand in adding broad bolts as you can see by the polls.

Don't look at what it says in the dev blog and assume those are the only ideas we have. Pures are a specific area which we think need some love but we're not going to do that at the expense of the rest of the player base.

Diane Meyer - What is this "can't share some anti-bot ideas with you" talk? I mean I understand you want to have the jump on botting companies but don't do anything drastic like suddenly release bonds or something (this is an exaggeration but you get what I mean).

Any major changes will be polled to the players first. Our aim is that the only impact of any changes we make to the honest player is bots disappearing.

Diane Meyer - Also really Mod Mat K, you guys need to address the issue of inputting/ not inputting new content.

We know some players want no changes to be made to Old School, however the majority of the players are showing in the polls that they want changes to be made.

Shizzle Shot - Sounds good, what do you think of the idea of having a cut on the GE (5%?). This provides an excellent money sink and keeps player trading alive.

Taxing any solution to the trading issue is something we have already discussed, but the ultimate decision is up to you guys.

It is unlikely anyone will get banned for just using an autotyper - we'll mute them, but we are unlikely to ban them.


Thank you for the response and clarification. So if a player is unlikely to be banned but is able to be muted for it, does it stand as being against the rules or fall only under regulations re: spamming the chat?

Did anyone else who goes to world 1 often notice the guy who spams he is selling dh for 4.5m and other items for high prices (A bot) was in the picture lol? I see him everytime I go there spamming that. I want, what they want, and every other guy who came over here and spilled his guts and gave everything he had, wants! For our country to love us as much as we love it! That's what I want!
