I like the new PvM ideas, but i'm not sure about bounty hunter.. i'd much rather prefer clan wars (placed where it was in the wildy). I didn't really like bounty hunter when it was released. There's already plenty of 1-on-1 PvP going on now anyway, edgeville world 2 and al kharid arena. Clan wars would encourage more multi-player combat and would bring groups of people in the wilderness.

I believe the bounty hunter should be introduced in the crater type.
If this was done, the mid-deep wilderness would be populated again. I remember down the stairs it used to be packed, and everywhere else from the west to the stairs, to clan wars (if this would be introduced in the same location again?) to easts.

Also another big issue, if the bounty hunter craters would be introduced outside of wilderness would be that it would actually make three major places to pk in. That would devide the pking community into three parts**** should definitely be in wilderness!

I really hope you guys get the craters back as soon as possible.

"You told us that the most important aspects of skilling to you were that it needs to be profitable, that gaining XP needs to be engaging and that you want to be able to skill with your friends. So, we will be looking at how we can incorporate these into the two skilling polls that we offer."

So, why on earth did you destroy bolt making (smithing) by adding broad bolts?

Was it because a lot of un skilled combat oriented players demanded cheap ammo because they were too lazy to train skills that would have supplied their own needs for free and didn't want to pay the cost of not training?

Good way to improve the profitability of skills right there.

So, if broad bolts are here because slayers didn't want to be forced to pay a greedy smither for ammo shouldn't you add whips to an npc shop at 200k so that we don't have to be forced to pay some greedy slayer for one or train high enough to get it for free?

mate, it takes alot more skill, time and money to get 85 slayer than it takes to get the level to make mith bolts. even if i wanted to train range with mith bolts, i still wouldn't even think about making them. you wanna smith with profit? make cannonballs. and broad bolts aren't here because slayers wanted them because mith bolts are too expensive, they're here to make turoth and kurask task worth doing again.

Broad bolts are equal to adamant, not mith, and I wouldn't wish cannonball making on my worst enemy.

It doesn't matter the level to make a bolt or gain a whip the point remains, if I want the advantage that training a skill gives me be it slayer or smithing why should that advantage I have earned be taken away by an update that rewards a different group for NOT training because they don't wish to pay the price of not training?

Imho, broad bolts should have required 73 smithing and an addy bar to make considering they are only needed for two beasts.
Ha ha, made you look ;)

Removing bots and adding clan wars should be your #1 priority seriously, there are a huge amount of players who want to fight in teams and not risk any items, the clanning community also desperately wants this.

Is it really that hard to put in content that has already been created?
If updating the engine of the game is required then go for it, because later down the line you're going to have to do it anyway we want this game to go forward.

This server was put in place as an alternative to the Eoc combat system not because we want to live like the amish.
Finally i want to say thank you for your hard work even though you are being paid you guys are doing a good job to satisfy a lot of players with such a small team.

Many updates can be great as long as they fit into the old school style, but also old school is a massive game already, so if we could concentrate on revamping older content other than adding new content would be great RIP Forums :(
Finally we have signatures in the surprise forum update. I'm Lewis, I play Old School & I've been playing since 2005.

Great to hear Mat k, Ash, John C and Reach

Umm, could you perhaps take a look for a solution of a drop share system? lately i have seen many getting scammed by team players at God Wars, i like to play with teams at bosses and get a shared value of a drop instead of being sad not getting the drop. :)
What are you, a concerned beaver?

Hi,

I love the ideas you've come up with and look forward for them to be implemented. The main thing which also made me smile was the efforts you're doing to help get rid of the bots. It'll be interesting to see what my real OSRS Hunter rank is. :)

Thanks for sharing the plans and look forward to the year. :)
