um im gonna throw this out there i dont remember this being a priority, give us (safe) clan wars, but the soul games seems ok, but ide advise no exp rewards or people will bot it to death. thank you to who ever reads this

translation: ''im a pure combat and it irks me that jagex has actually listen to it players and given the non combat people a real update. I don't want them to get any thing good for it so that it will die rapidly people will give up on non combat stuff so they will all be my willing victims.'' according to every poll every done by any site connected to rs, skillers, non combat minigamers and questers out number combat players. there is no reason to believe that this version is any different. this is the first time that we have been given hope that jagex will listen to us.

jagex cant nerf it by making it a non rewarded (exp) course because it would be a total wasted effort and jagex doesn't have the people to make a wasted effort.

just because you CHOOSE to not see this having a priority, doesn't mean it was there from the beginning. soul war was always a low priority. it was 3rd on the list of combat players and they are not a huge majority.

^^ i mean the people who are mostly against this are the pvm/combat players. the last updates have all been combat related. i feel if jagex just focused on pvm...the skiller's would feel that they were being left out.

Updates to this game: should be balanced to provide pvm and skillers something they can look forward to doing!

Don't worry, we'll balance out the courses so it is comparable with other courses rather than better than them. We'll also make sure we don't devalue any existing content I'll put together some prospective weights for you mull over.

Here are the first draft of the rooftop courses.

Red dots are the start and stop points, the glowing bits are the obstacles.

Im somewhat concerned the distance from start to finish on the seers is a bit much. how about this. near the bank is a climbable (non chopable) dead tree. once you are down by the bank, you run to the tree, climb it and do a tight walk to the building across the street. the roof between the building with the spinning wheel and the other should be one way, and have the other direction have to jump between the west building and the one with the stove. then you can have a zip line running down from the top of the chapel between the yew trees.

here is how the course would be run then (can go the other direction if you want). start next to bank and scale tree. tight walk to the building with the stove. jump to the building with the spinning wheel, and climb the roof. run to the bulding with the water symbol, and jump, tightwalk or plank it to the alter building. then you would zip line down, and scale back up to the top of the alter build. you would then use a second path across to the water building and jump the stove building roof. the rest is good.

as I said you can make it go the other way.

Sounds good but can the weight reducing items have a high agility level requirement? Just like the agile outfit because that was good and people didn't mind it.. + it'll hopefully encourage more people to get their agility level to a higher level than to just run around a few times and get a mark of grace... us people with higher agility levels need something to show off ;)

I personally think they should give multiple sets. the first set would hardly lower your weight but would be of great boon to low levels. they would see it as a benefit and thus would be more inclined to go after better outfits. of course the best would only be gained from high (90+) levels. it might be that the lower level ones only lasted a certain amount of time while each level lasted longer. the best of course would never wear out.

To all the people who want these roofs so incredibly fast, I have one question.

Did you join OSRS because you wanted to visit the old days or because you hated Evolution of Combat?

didn't give eoc much of a chance, I left when they gave people the ability to buy exps in things like agility.

it wasn't a matter that we wanted it out so fast, it was that we were getting tired of jagex slowly turning the game in to meleescape. the game should be balanced. updates should go to everyone, not just the one group that's loudest.

don't forget the questers. they deserve something every now and again too. there were several quest suggestions in the contest that were completely possible with the limitations ivp and gearhead put on this game.

I personally don't think gearhead ever imagine these 4 guys could ever do as much as they have let alone what they will be doing.

why? because jagex is spending time giving people other than you and your clan what you want? the universe does not revolve around you.

The clan I'm associated with is actually a level 3 skiller clan. I do not partake in anything related to combat.

Agility suit
• Weight reduction effects
• Graceful hood, cape, body, legs, gloves and boots

No cape, gloves or boots please. There's already spottier cape, penance gloves and boots of lightness which reduce weight.

boots of lightness is gained from a mid level quest as long as the mid level gear was equal I don't see why they cant add something better at higher levels. I suggested on another post that the low level agility items should degrade. boots of lightness don't, so it would still have a use.

equally, if low to mid level capes and gloves degraded they would not reduce the need for the spottier cape or penance gloves, yet would give higher level (the ones that done degrade say form the 90+ course) something to show off.
