No, nightmare zone shouldn't even be on 07, it's broken and has ruined alot of things. Making corp have something to with NMZ would be the worst update possible...

So because im a zerker i cant do corp beats because i need a quest cape?

If i complete all quests i mess up my zerker. Why cant i be in the fun to?

Ive killed corp as a zerker when it first came out fine. that's how i funded my pvp endevors. ( was never really good at pvp but enjoyed the thrill) But now, because you guys want the prices of items to be high, i dont get to experience one of the best bosses in this games history due to greedy single minded players.

corps drop has to be a game changer, spirit shields were 1/6000 and the boss was hard as hell. Which is good the game needs that. But a crush weapon isnt gonna be something people want or would slave at that drop rate for.

The shields are fine in my opinion but one of my clan members suggested this.

Why not just introduce three shields like you balanced them in eoc. Leaving out the arcane to not take away from the maladiction shield.

Divine - 40% buff to melee
Elysian - 40% buff to range
Spectral - 40% buff to mage

This would allow no shield to over power the others and make the alch value extremely high. So if used it is the item kept over godsword etc. I still think it should be constructed in the same manor spirit shield, holy elixir, sigil.

Also corps regular drops need to be buffed more imo. The drops you had will not cut it in 07. For instance goat horns...? there is no summoning so no need for crap drops like that to be on its drop table. These need to be buffed cause there is no overloads or stat hammers to lower def so its a large group boss.

Just a thought, inb4 mod bans me again for posting ideas to the forums.

no, dragon defender is a free 30% accuracy boost spirit shields cost upwards of 100m to a bil.

The easier a boss is to access, the less valuable its rewards are. Plain and simple. With such a small community, the price of its rewards will plummet much faster than they did in the previous game.
In order to slow the decline of the reward's value, they need to create some strict requirements to fight it otherwise the boss will become not worth doing unless you have the entire world there killing it.

Quest Cape should be the requirement. The game needs something for quest capers and I think this would be a neat perk of having completed all quests. It's easily possible to obtain quest cape at 90 combat - the combat level you gave as an example if they were able to kill it.

And btw, Vorago has no requirements other than a team to kill it. The elitism comes with the requirements set by players to join teams, not the game.



I agree with the Quest Cape requirement. There is no sense of achievement in when you finish all quests. Also, this would motivate people whose only goal is to rush max combat stats and ignore the rest of the game to actually do the game content. This is supposed to be one of the hardest creatures in the game, and as such knowledge gained from finishing all the quests should be needed to slay such a beast.

If you want to keep the rarity of the items high, put the quest cape requirement. If you really try, it only takes a few weeks to complete all quests (easier than most 99s). I truly see no reason against it.

No combat level restriction as it's covered in the QP req and I think pures should not be stopped from trying it - it is after all in the wildy.

Spirit shield and blessed spirit shields are fine as they are
Sigils:-
Divine Spirit shield is too OP - rework the special to same as Elysian maybe?
Elysian Spirit shield - OP but maybe THE new top drop
Arcane & Spectral are fine as they are.

The Corp Beast may also be a good way to introduce pvp weapons & or armour.

Or a Dragon warhammer (2 handed) to fill the crush weapon spot (defence reducing spec like old statius warhammer)

Recolour the mystic robe drops to green and add green mystic hat, gloves, boots.

Oh and add Elite clues and a pet corp or core :p

considering the quests it was originaly released with
could be done with about 50 questpoint

i think this qp req should be kept for new content comparable to tds
wic* can be solo/duo ed and not something that is as team dependant as corp


200 is as low as it should be, in my opinion. People without high quest points already have the ability to fight every single other boss in the Wilderness. Why can't questers be rewarded for once?
