So with that logic you can also say lvl 3 accounts should be able to fight it because those that put the time in to get high or max combat stats to fight it are elitists and just want to make more than low lvl players.
It originally had a high lvl quest required to unlock the Corp. Considering nowadays with prices crashing too dam fast after release, I think quest cape should be a requirement to be able to fight it... coming from a guy who doesn't even have 200 qp, but I'd be willing to put the time in.
Corp is going to be end-game, players should be at end-game in order to fight it (i.e. being done with all the quests and obviously having the combat stats to fight it).

Please think before you go type garbage. Corp/Spirit shields came out in 2008 which is no where near when EoC was released. Corp needs a very rare drop that is awesome so it's expensive to even make it worth killing since you use up so much supplies. Oldschool needs new high end/best in slot gear it gets boring when you own all of it and kill the same bosses over and over most people don't have any good expensive items to work towards anymore since gwd has been out for a while now.

no but the quest required for corp on rs3 have really low requirment so 200 qp is way way too high (ive done it on acc with about 50 questpoints)
as for the combat lvl i think the dificulty of the boss should speak for itself if a lvl 90 manage to kill it he deserved his kill cuz its def harder than for me (almost max melle)
they just want 200 questpoint because they have it and they know it will be more proffitable for them even if the requirment is just a random number they pulled out of their head because they know the less ppl do it the more money they make (elitist)

you might be maxed ovl yak curses with t80 weapon
even if killing vorago is totaly possible with t80 they know
its too accessible so no one will accept you on their team since if they did
they know alot more ppl would do it and their precious seismic would crash
so thats why theyre making up resons to keep ppl out of the boss
so THEY can make more money and that exactly what ppl are trying to do atm with corp and this is why i totaly disagree with this questpoint requirment
instead it should have the same requirment as the quests required back in 2008 when it came out (questpoint and skills(excluding sumoning))
and a miniquest (if jmods feel like they have time for it ofc)
nothing too complicated just talking to a few ppl hinting you that the corp is there
and then you have to use the skill req it had back in the day
to make your way into the cave

The easier a boss is to access, the less valuable its rewards are. Plain and simple. With such a small community, the price of its rewards will plummet much faster than they did in the previous game.
In order to slow the decline of the reward's value, they need to create some strict requirements to fight it otherwise the boss will become not worth doing unless you have the entire world there killing it.

Quest Cape should be the requirement. The game needs something for quest capers and I think this would be a neat perk of having completed all quests. It's easily possible to obtain quest cape at 90 combat - the combat level you gave as an example if they were able to kill it.

And btw, Vorago has no requirements other than a team to kill it. The elitism comes with the requirements set by players to join teams, not the game.

yes but requirment set by player and requirment voted on by player isnt that
much different in my opinion
as for the quest cape yes i agree its alot of work for not that much reward
(for having 100% of them done not quest in genral)
but i really dont think hidding a boss that require that much ppl to figth
is a good idea just imagine how it hard it would be to find a team if only questcapers
(or almost quest*per) could do it lol
i think content like tds that is solo/duo able would be more suited for that

You do have a good point considering how difficult it is that a quest cape would make it almost impossible to find people to kill it with... at first anyways.
You can look at it like Saradomin godwars. The 70 agility requirement is a pretty high requirement and at first my friends and I didn't have the requirement to go there, but the fact it's the best boss to go to in GWD got us all to get that agility lvl to do it and ended up benefiting from it heavily.

It goes both ways, I kind of would like a quest cape requirement, but I can also see it being too big of a requirement for some people making it all more difficult to kill as you're short on people. I'd rather there be a hefty requirement to access it, though.
Maybe like 75-80 agility (I'm 70 agility) as I would be up for grinding it again to gain access.

agree the requirment should be hard
but it shouldnt be something alot of ppl are never ever going to do (questcape/200qp)
so enought ppl can do the boss because if theres no one to team with youl have to do
it in really small teams and use one inv of brews per kill and i think it could make it even
less profitable than if anyone could do it unless you get really lucky

why 200?
considering the quests it was originaly released with
could be done with about 50 questpoint

i think this qp req should be kept for new content comparable to tds
wic* can be solo/duo ed and not something that is as team dependant as corp

y dont we just have the abbility to get to the corp be sold in the nightmare zone. with maybe a few reqiurements for what bosses you killed in nightmare zone. like the way swift gloves and stuff works.

sell a map at nightmare zone that is needed to see the option to mine an entrance into the corps cave.

that would give it quest requirements that make some sence. not a magic force feild thats stops you due to low qp
