As someone who has done corp since the beginning, I am very excited for it to be released hopefully in the near future! My friends and I look forward to when it is released and killing corp just like when it was first released!

For the requirements: I would say a high combat level (110+) is the biggest requirement. Corp is a melee based boss with spears being the most effective against him. Yes there are places for a ranger when it comes to dealing with the core, but all in all the most damage on corp is going to be melee.

For what it drops: As of now we with GWD we have Bandos and Armadyl armor but we do not have any mage armor. I think corp should fill in the gap with new robes. While everyone is saying that corp should drop spirit shields I think that is fine too. But if you were to bring back the shields make them all balanced! We do not need over powered items this early in the game. If you plan on implementing more powerful items into the game every year or so then do it a little bit at a time.

Not sure if this has been suggested but but anyway...

I think it should drop 4 God Shields - Bandos, Arma, Sara, Zammy, with similar stats to the original spirit shields, but make them more PvM related.

They could have a better attack bonus agianst its respective follower ie, A Bandos follower (Golbin, General Graardor etc) would be hit more often with the Bandos shield equiped. Similar to the slayer helmets effects.

To really bring something exciting to PvM it should have a devestating special attack which could only be used against an NPC.

Killing a follower, or possibly just a GWD boss could slowly fill the special bar or charges for the shield. Maybe 25 boss kills or 50 of any type of follower? Too be voted on maybe? The special attack should hit a minimum of 1 and upto 80% of the monsters HP. 80% could be changed but i think its an awesome idea, imagine having someone on your team with a bandos shield and knowing he could potentially bang out a 204 spec against General Graardor!!! Makes PvM look pretty juicy ay?

Obviously the drop rate would still be low, keeping this a rare and beast of a shield. Im not sure about whether it should be dropped as 1 shield or in parts, like the spirit shield, holy elixer, sigil idea? Another thing to vote on or hear other ideas.

I cant see this ruining any aspects of the PvM, PvP econemy or community and would love to see something that could make GWD more exciting.

What do you guys think?

My vote can be yes, but this is my 'list of demands':

1.Place it beside the wilderness agility course, in a cave that is pvp-enabled, is multi-combat, and has a lever to teleport into a separate room like kbd has.

2. Quest Cape requirement.

3. Total Level Requirement of at least 1750

3. Combat level requirement (120+)

Because we totally need content which less than 5% of the community has access to. Man...

I'm totally against adding the Corp in general. But if you had to add it, you should include the drops that made it worth it. Either all or nothing.

I think the God Shields don't make sense. In my opinion, it's like having Graardor's signature drop be a dragon full-helm.

Maybe a new Crush weapon that can drain randomly prayer. That would probably make the most sense as the Corporeal beast can bypass prayers himself.

For Robes, new Prayer gear that buffs the effect of Smite maybe?

For the Shields, i don't really know. We have the Odium and Malediction shields, why not give those special effects? (Not like the Divine SS either)

To Reach,

I'm unsure if you'll get my feedback but I'd like to be a part of the process regardless. Perhaps as an item sink, a certain high level item should be required to be offered to the corporeal beast bindings. The beast is so powerful that a magical enchantment was placed on bindings keeping the door closed since the end of the Godwars. In order to enter the room, a player must attack the bindings with a Godsword. In the process, the blade is broken and the player is left with the hilt. That'd be a fair requirement and it would be interesting and unique - and altogether not too incredibly hard to do. Also, why not throw a slayer requirement on there to really make the beast a prestigious target.

As for the lair, I honestly think the new continent should house the beast. I think a cave could be a temporary placement but it just seems a little crowded in the wilderness lately in terms of bossing content. Why not mix it up a bit and put the beast in an observable arena similar to the duel arena on the new continent? That'd be interesting for players who are alching or hanging out.

As for the drops. As far as offensive weaponry, I see no reason to introduce more high level melee content or range content. Perhaps some magical items could be introduced that are extremely effective against melee users.

Corprus Staff - Super Rare; 80 magic requirement
Call it the Corprus Staff; when used on a player it drains strength by 10% of the users magic level and can hold 1k charges. Each cast requires 3 blood runes and 15 body runes. Charges are only used against players. However, the staff also has a melee-magic based attack that can hit up to 25 with 99 magic. The strength of the melee-magic attack is based on the user's magic level. The speed of the melee attack should be equal to a longsword in game. Also, make the staff 2h. Also, the players strength is set to 0 when the staff is equipped. Players receive magic experience when using the melee-magic based attack.

Divine and Elysian shields were quite overpowerd, and the others would just make the new wilderness shields obsolete. I like the idea of mid-high level weapons, as long as they don't surpass whip/hasta, etc. This is quite a high level boss, so I think a quest cape requirement would be a better idea than just dropping a cave in the wilderness, and it would give some reason to complete ALL quests.

If you have to pay 500m+ for a shield, it had better be damn good. The rarity and difficulty to obtain balance out the Elysian and Divine's power. You guys are making it sound like everybody is going to have spirit shields!

Odium and maledictium wards will be worse than the Spectral and Arcane spirit shield, yes, but they will also be 90m+ cheaper!
