How are you going to get all the players back that quit this year because of there was like no good updates? Fixing th problem is really easy if you think about it! It mite be to late tho and My guess is your changing mtx system over to be good on mobile and pretending like its because of us lol.
TH fix is so simple tho anyone who understands consumer economics should be able to figure out what to do ...

I just don't understand why everyone is so salty about Jagex and MTX.. They're a freaking business.. They need to make money. It's like playing 8 Ball Pool.. You get items you can earn, and then things you can buy.. The buying part is what keeps their app alive. Same thing with Jagex.

It's kinda sad people don't look at it from a business standpoint. You're upset seeing all that "XP" being bought? It's 2017. I don't get why people love to ride the wave of hating before looking in to anything.

Don't like all the easy XP? Go play OSRS or something...

Every year its the same:
"We didn't do this, sorry, we'll try harder".
"We need to get people more involved, we'll do polls, feedback forms, surveys".
"We'll release a brand new boss, the hardest ever..."
"Here are some more slayer updates..."

I didn't renew my membership for this year because my gut feeling was you wouldn't deliver on the bank update and you wouldn't deliver on the mining/smithing rework. I was right.

MTX is too prevalent in the game, you never miss a deadline for MTX, but you constantly miss deadlines for content updates. The game is already dying. Once the OSRS players leave, the game is dead.

MTX is a extremely easy fix.
1- Don't hand out exp constantly on Treasure Hunter. Sure a lamp here and there is exciting, but if people who "work all day and don't have time to play" buy their levels with keys, they will be higher level and either get bored of the game an quit (rip subscribers) or be able to play the game well enough to boss/slay a little and buy bonds off the G.E. for membership (technically someone did buy a bond, so there's still income on your side but its still a subscriber down). Don't play a game you don't have time for. Prioritize.
2- Makes Bonds a store item/nontrade. A set price in a shop near every grand exchange. lets just say 10m. When you buy a bond, you can redeem it for TH keys, name change, Runecoins, Runemetrics OR sell it so this shop for 10m. Players can then go to the shop and buy bonds as well, for 10m. It's like a grand exchange but with a fixed price. This helps solve promotions, events, DXP weekends from raising bond prices and having players buy/sell bonds for more gold due to whatever is going on in game.
3- Don't make event rewards (Spring fayre, Beach, Novtumberfest, or those other 5-14day events) items tradeable. This prevents billy from buying runecoins and then buying cosmetics and giving them to a friend cause his friend is too broke to buy it himself and doesn't have enough time to grind the event. It's an event item, you should of earned it from the event or from the shops. Not from your friend (or stranger) giving them to you because you can't get it yourself.
4- Stop making the game "afk scape". With the influence of how incredibly afk the game has become in most areas, of course players turn to MTX as a reliable source. The game already showed them that there is no effort involved so they will naturally just purchase their way along with afking. Runescape is a grind heavy game, a little afk is nice but to an extent. There's no sense of playing a game that you are capable of buying/afking entirely.
