They aren't going to stop selling things that people want to pay for. In fact, that "conveniences part" should raise a giant red flag for every single player right now. They're already selling conveniences, like bank space, ability bars, extra presets etc. Only now they're talking about TH. "Spin keys for a chance at extra bank space, ability bars, presets etc"

Does it still sound better? Or does it sound like they're actually going to make things worse?

It really depends on what kind of conveniences to be honest. If they're really small conveniences, then that's fine. However, big ones like bank boosters and ability bars should stay in SGS. I have less of a problem with SGS because at least you don't gamble for the content like with TH. And if people like said TH exclusive cosmetics, let them buy keys all they want. Don't want it? Don't buy any.

One side of me thinks people are overthinking this; really. Though the sad truth is people always need to cry foul whenever the Jmods open their mouths, no matter the subject.

Best thing you could do is wait to see if they'll actually keep their promises and judge afterwards. Again, I'll only believe it when I see it.

Remove Treasure Hunter.
Add more cosmetics to Solomon's
Add more bank boosters
Add more bank presets
Add more action bars

This will make the game much healthier in my opinion. Treasure Hunter is an example of bad MTX , i am sure you can find a substitute to get your money without damaging the game. True Trim

All i hope for now on a Monday is for the update not to break the game.

How bad this year has been for updates to lower my expectations this low. Broken quests, terrible toxic content designed only to slow down people and force them to stay in an area not designed for that lvl of player, and broken 'upgrades', looking at you achievements update.

This year my account has been broken, and my game play and enjoyment stopped by terrible updates. When i do actively engage with new content, e.g. order of slayers achievement, it is broken, i did this and it immediately reset as undone after i logged out.

The effect of this continual hope/disappointment/frustration cycle is to make me disengage with the game i love.

I am glad u are addressing the mtx issue, and i hope you get the balance right.

The anger caused by seeing mtx after mtx while shoddy updates are made live is not they way to treat loyal players.

I'd be naive to say i believe any of this, Quality updates is all that we ask for and you have dissapointed most of the player base on that one. i wouldnt mind mtx as part of the game if quality was still high or better said Higher than before because the game done a better job at quality updates before the introduction of Mtx and i am not sure if i wanna stick around being milked.
