Hopefully Rite of Passage comes out soon. I have been waiting years for it.
Quite passionate there, Spyro, but I can't say I disagree; I will keep watching developments.

Mysteria is just yet another week of pure XP selling as Jagex paves the road to HALF A YEAR of NON-STOP TH promos.

Yep i can now see what everyone is so upset about.

All these xp promos do get a bit stale after a while :/

Just confused really. However, that 10s of thousands of dollars gets a shit ton of views on twitch and more advertisement for the game.

All this hate and anger gets us nowhere fast. Every time someone at Jagex responds to a bad situation the forums seem to play a game of shoot the messenger. This doesn't make things better. Calling Mod Balance a liar doesn't make him more receptive to the legitimate complaints. None of this anger and yelling is doing anything to help anyone.

You don't like all the bonus XP fine, how would you fix it? If you take it all away it will upset one part of the player base, if you leave it as is it upsets another part. I would rebalance it, maybe make the bonus XP rarer move it all to the yellow tier and above and move more useful items and some cosmetics to the white tier. No one gets exactly what they want in that situation but you get something.

I've never thought that MXT was really forced on me. The only thing I disliked was when there was an ad when I logged in for a special deal on keys. I just ignored it and went on my way.

I would say that If you are not willing to help with the problem then you become a part of the problem so here is what I would see done.

1. Rebalance Treasure Hunter, see above for my idea
2. No more of the special deal on keys ads on login
3. Less XP promotions and more cosmetic promotions
4. Make the promotions longer, I.E. make them 2 weeks long so only 26 a year total
5. Make a full 2 week second chance promotion at the end of the year with a chance for everything that was released in the year.

All of these seem like a reasonable compromise and a good way forward. They shift TH away from XP and more to cosmetics without removing XP boosts, removes a little of the pressure that was put on, reduces the total number of promotions each year, and still gives everyone a chance at everything at the end of the year.
