Cosmetics would be fine. Many games offer cosmetics as mtx. They're not game changing, they don't devalue your or anyone else's achievements. The game experience will remain the same except that you're now wearing something better looking than the usual stuff.
I think I could tolerate lucky items as well. They're relatively rare, they're not t85+ (yet) and the basic versions are easy to get anyway so someone getting lucky chaotics doesn't really save that much time.
Cash is so-and-so. 200m buys quite a lot in this game, at least if you're only going for 99s. But my main issue here is....
Crazy xp promos. Lamps, stars, lanterns, whatever. Bonus xp or pure xp you get immediately. There was a time when competing for ranks was relatively fun and fair. Botters were banned every now and then, people were getting punished for RWT, both actions keeping the highscores more legit. Now all that is lost as those willing to spend lots of cash will just buy skills. It's pointless to compare your skills with anyone anymore. Oh, and then there's the skilling outfits you gotta gamble for or else you're stuck waiting for months and months for them to be obtainable by actually playing the game.
Anyway, I want to play this game, I really do. I've been here since 2001; I've had my breaks, like when EoC really frustrated me and I was gone for 2 years, but I keep coming back. It's just that I'm less motivated to do so when we're being bombarded with these TH promos. Removing 2nd chance tuesdays is like trying to stretch that cable you've cut too short. It does nothing.
You're killing the game when you treat it like a free to play mobile game.
