What false claim are you talking about? What exactly have I said that is outright wrong?

Clearly stated it here. Want to read it once more... and in case if you really can't read, perhaps all the other Jagex users can:

"LOL! What a joke trying to first trying to falsely claim "I've (You, Urekmazino've) been saying the regulation on lootboxes have been moving at breakneck pace."

You haven't proven the claim to be in any way false, whereas I have shown examples of other regulations tackling more severe issues taking longer to implement in comparison to lootboxes (such as alcohol, food and drugs, tobacco).

Your claim that my claim is false is the only false claim around here.

EA are so scared of more lootbox/online gambling regulations that they are trying to rename lootboxes into "Surprise Mechanics" l00000000000000000000000000000000000000l

We know these invisible "regulations" are "progressing" at a "break-neck" speed of... well over
40 years and more. Uh Oh! The FTC still calls for self-regulation in these alcohol, tobacco industries and such. Sorry, after the "break-neck" speed breakthrough of >40 years, the FTC don't want government regulations. They never wanted government to get involved since the 1970's

EA called their Ultimate Team Pack just Ultimate Team Pack all the time. They are not called loot boxes or surprise mechanics.

Oh! EA is so "scared" they don't have enough bankslots to store the billions of $$$ they bring in from loot boxes and other MTX. :D :D :D

For a fact the mechanics of loot boxes are exactly like Kinder Surprise or Trading Card Games (real world physical trading cards).

If somebody has to bash these "surprise mechanics", they probably need to attack Kinder Surprises and the likes for not revealing the odds like TCG or Ultimate Team Packs. :D

Never RIP said :
^ the difference is we're allowed to sell the cards and kinder surprise toys, they are ours to do whatever we want with.

We gamble and win a prize.

In runescape, we pay for lootboxes which people claim have the same mechanics etc as trading cards, but we do NOT own the cards or loot from lootboxes.

I'm not against mtx. But they are completely different to trading cards and kinder surprise.

------

Let's say u collect Pokemon cards... buying a pack is sort of like spinning the slot machine.... you can win a charizard and sell it for irl profits... the jagex and online mtx slot machine is rigged and never pays.

Please stop referring to mtx as trading cards... I paid $ for my lootboxes... if I'm trading for anything less than $s or their equivalent monetary value, they are NOT LIKE TRADING CARDS.

Everytime u refer to mtx as tho they are trading cards u're losing the argument in my eyes, and I don't want that, I like mtx.

We are talking about the MECHANICS of trading cards (or Kinder Surprises) but not the VALUE of these these items. The "surprise" mechanics are exactly the same but the values of these items are different.

The fact the Baseball Cards or Kinder Surprise have real world value further make them more gambling-like tools than the no-value TH prizes.
