Party hats have been inflated with hoarding+ fake alt trades, but there just isn't enough demand at the price level that they are being traded at now. if they were all sold at once there's probably not enough GP to cover the selling at the over inflated price levels. the show will go on, but as the price gets higher, the real demand declines, short term speculators will still want them, the decline of the player base somewhat affects the demand too. as for adding them to treasure hunter I don't think its a good idea, the wealth will just transfer to something else like bonds or weapons because of inflation fears, and will make something else more expensive. Price is what you pay. Value is what you get.

The only reason you desire a partyhat is because of the lore, status symbolism, and wealth they represent. If they are released again, everything about partyhats, including their 20 year legacy, is deleted.

This suggestion is in poor taste. Essentially you are saying: "hey Jagex, I can't afford a partyhat, and I'm jealous of the people who own them, because in RS3 they represent financial success. Therefore, you should give everyone a partyhat so I no longer have to be envious".

It is an incredibly selfish suggestion, that attempts to erase other people's accomplishments and achievements because a few of you cannot contain your jealously.

If we are to practice this sort of Socialism, we cannot stop at one item; everyone should also be given infinite cash stacks, any item they want, and all stats and quests completed so we can all be exactly the same and no one will have to be envious of other people's achievements in game ever again.
