So let's get back to discussing something more interesting, like ideas about how to win Partyhats on Treasure Hunter:

This wet partyhat can then be dried by a new 115 level invention machine! There is a 50% chance of getting a normal partyhat of the same colour, and 50% chance of getting a broken partyhat. Broken partyhats can be worn too, but the look a little bit different.

This invention drying machine could be heated by the flames to increase the success chance. Since heat helps to dry wet partyhats, they can be strenghtened by the flames!

Shark attack can be a traumatising experience for the partyhat, and it would be relieving to know that the shark in question is no longer a threat. To comfort the partyhat, the flames should stem from the burning bones of that particular shark who performed the attack!

But, how can we find the attacker shark? This is where Divine Partyhat Map Shark Boss Bubble comes into play! This can be won on Treasure Hunter. When activated, it will be moved to the coast that is closest to the current location of the attacker shark! Possible locations include all of the Gielinor coast line!

The player will be given a map that spesifies the location of the Divine Bubble. When they go to fish from that Bubble, a Shark Boss will spawn. It can be killed to obtain shark bones.

Now we can incorporate the firemaking skill into play! By burning the shark bones in the drying maching, the wet partyhat can be strenghtened by the flames! This will increase the chance of receiving a normal partyhat to 75%! There is also a 12.5% chance of getting a broken partyhat and a 12.5% chance of getting a burnt partyhat!

This is an excellent idea that needs to be discussed more!

For example, it could breath new life into the "Flameproof Aura," to prevent burning Partyhats!

For The Win, keep those ideas flowing and support Partyhats on Treasure Hunter! :D

How is it a bad thing if people could enjoy partyhats instead of a tiny fraction of the community hoarding them? There are alternative items that could be used for bragging, some of them are even rarer than partyhats, such as black santa hat and holly wreath. Unlike partyhats, these were intented to be rare to begin with.
idk if you were around for the thread from my signature about my Billionaires Club suggestion, but it didn't start out only for Billionaires.

My original idea was a store, comprised of partyhats made in every color usable in the forums. Starting from prices cheap that anybody could eventually get, ranging to the current prices, adding around 140 brand newly colored, earnable partyhats. Half of which are affordable. While keeping the Original six as the only tradeable rare partyhats staying as rare as they are.

Unfortunately for that, I tried to reason with the numerous people who didn't support. Much like I tried to reason with Kalea. And the idea got shut down every which way it was suggested. Just like she ignored all logic presented just to skip back to your idea.

It's impossible to please everybody. Especially when you suggest a devastating change to the game's most prized item. Nobody supports changing them because surprisingly most people see them as endgame goals.

Also, when you look at the forums into the discontinued marketplace, you'd see most owners dont hoard them. The only people who you can call hoarders are the ones not trading their partyhats, like Konota. Or the people who own them who no longer play.

Its unfair to say all current owners are hoarders when there's plenty of trade activity that we can see.

Yeh I get whatcha mean, there's seemingly too few so nobody but elitists can get them. So I do support expanding that. And I support a poll to see who's really interested in new partyhats, tradeable or expensive or not either.

Thanks for the opinion on my store, as for more details I wish my thread still existed.. it seems to have been either hidden in my hiatus, or exceeded page 50.. so I'd need to remake it.. Im pretty sure I originally suggested 5m intervals between each partyhat in my store, because 140x5m=7b which is just less than the lowest of the rares. And they could act as placeholders and achievements and be totally optional for showing off or partying with. Or even stepping stones while they save for better colors or a rare.

And with the 140 colors on the BBcode list, I think there's going to be a wide range of fairly attractive colors for both lower and higher prices.

Completely refundable and you get a cosmetic override for whichever you own at the moment so you never have to risk it to wear it.

~ What I meant is that all partyhats belong to tiny fraction of the community.

Exactly, all these holiday items, like Partyhats, are cosmetics, they're just festively fun fashion accessories that were shared with the entire community.

The Christmas Crackers brought people together to snap the Crackers and share in the festive fun, it helped build friendships and strengthen the spirit of the community.

With Partyhats on Treasure Hunter, this could be realized again, especially if this sort of event were made available to all the Hardcore and Iron(peoples) as well! :D

For The Win, Support Partyhats on Treasure Hunter, it's a Hardcore Ironclad multiple win! :D
