To be honest, knowing that this will never happen, it’s just not even worth arguing about. You have your own opinion, I got my own. The only difference is that I own partyhats and you don’t. So let’s leave it at that.
I appreciate your desire to agree to disagree over whether or not Jagex will develop the idea of Partyhats on Treasure Hunter, and that's ok
Personally, because of the reasons discussed previously, I think they will find some way to release the Partyhats again for everyone to enjoy.
And for those reasons, I continue to support Partyhats on Treasure Hunter because it's in everyone's self-interest and it's simply the right thing to do!

Don't worry! When partyhats crash, the hoarders will go bankrupt and thus won't have excess wealth!
If phats crash, then whats the point in having one?
I mean look at osrs, no one cares about them for this very reason.
Perhaps, with the exception of that self-proclaimed "True Cosmetics Collector," people do care and most people realize that there is a difference between an item's gp value and it's cosmetic value.
Cosmetics are subjective,
one person's junk is another person's treasure.
So, it's ok to increase the supply of partyhats with Treasure Hunter but, if the partyhats crash, that's ok too because it just means that a larger group of people will be able to share and treasure and enjoy the cheerfulness of the partyhat parties.
Partyhats on Treasure Hunter is in everyone's interest
because it will help Jagex strengthen their funding to maintain and develop this awesome game. So, it's in everyone's interest because what good are partyhats if the game isn't developed and maintained?
Therefore, Partyhats on Treasure Hunter is in everyone's interest!

I fail to see how any of this has any connection?
Then again this thread never made sense from the start.

Id recommend fully reading what i said to get full understanding:
On the one hand, it appears that you simply don't want to understand, and that's ok
On the other hand, if you sincerely are lacking understanding then it would be helpful if you explained the points that you have failed to understand.
In either case, supporting Partyhats on Treasure Hunter is the right thing to do!

Some people, as you say, fail to see. They fail to see that partyhats were supposed to be fun and free holiday items for everyone to enjoy, not bragging symbols of wealth.
Who ever said they were supposed to be free holiday items?
I mean holiday items are meant to be items to show you partook in a certain holiday event.
