LMBO - there are no loot boxes in this game. Nothing in TH helps with this game. This isn't some app that lasts one year - this game is generational. OOOOooo - I got a huge lamp that gives me 68k xp when I'm maxed. Or maybe I get 68k bxp, which when maxed, gets used up in less than an hour.

But what about the "items" you say? Items are nothing more than crappy, high-cost, bonds. There is no "winning big" in TH.

Most people in RuneScape started when they were 11 - they played through high school and are now in college or working. Recognizing the player base doesn't have the time to play like they used to, bxp was a natural update.

Gambling has a big pay off. Please tell me what the big pay off is from TH. My Threads:

And oh yeah, before you go, "Well people can max in less than 13 hours off of TH". Guess what, those people are rare - it's not everyone, and they didn't gamble. They knew with enough money the could max. Gambling would be spending all the money with a chance of not maxing.

Either way, you're still a noob asking where is Varrock, how do I do combat mechanics? - and we shun you. The character may have stats, but they are still a noob. And if they want to play with the pvmers or skillers, they are going to have to go back to level one and learn what we all went through. My Threads:

If that were true, which it isn't, then that is because Jagex has failed to attract any new players due to treasure hunter and the rest of their mtx.

Having free t80 gear is pay to win.

Winning 200m, or even 2b is winning.


Winning a Rainbow gaze is 200m, plague walk is 265m, gem cape is 760m, hot sand walk is 20m, zombie walk is 2115m, gem sack is 1945m, assassin walk is 795m. But I guess these aren't "big" enough for you huh?

Getting xp, or bxp is winning.

This is an RPG, where the main objective is to either roleplay, or progressively improve your character. Anything that helps you get an advantage over others towards the objective of the game with real money payment is considered p2w. 98.We consider loot boxes that can be bought with real-world money and do not reveal their contents in advance to be games of chance played for money’s worth. The Government should bring forward regulations under section 6 of the Gambling Act 2005 in the next parliamentary session to specify that loot boxes are a game of chance. If it determines not to regulate loot boxes under the Act at this time, the Government should produce a paper clearly stating the reasons why it does not consider loot boxes paid for with real-world currency to be a game of chance played for money’s worth.

First off, RuneScape is one of the longest running games. People talk about it as OLD . People are attracted to new. It's always the new restaurant in town that gets all the buzz. Your point amounts to, the only reason RuneScape doesn't own 100% of the MMO market is TH - nice way to ignore everything else. Get this, as I demonstrated, there are other factors. Like other game systems, and now we have these handheld devices that can also run games. My Threads:
