Once Armadyl arrived at Gielinor, he came to an island of monks praying peacefully to their god Saradomin. There were no weapons, and there was no strife. The monks were cheerful, and cooperated in harmony, all as Saradomin said he advocated. Armadyl was convinced; Gielinor would be the aviansie's new home. Then Saradomin said to him,
"Come, Armadyl. There is more to see on this world."
The two gods left the island known as Entrana, and when they reappeared on another spot at the foot of an ice-tipped mountain, Armadyl saw towering spires glowing with strange energy, and he asked Saradomin,
"Is this your nest?"
The god of wisdom turned to the ascended aviansie and replied in a sorrowful tone,
"This is the empire of the dreaded Empty Lord, Zaros. His followers did terrible things in pursuit of power, and justice had to come to them. Look."
And he pointed to the east, where a huge city was being stormed by legions of soldiers.
"I have temporarily allied myself with Zamorak, the general to Zaros' armies. He told me of how he and others were discontent with the Empty Lord's rule, and offered assistance in bringing the empire down. Many of his personal guard and soldiers, along with my own army, are currently storming what is left of the Zarosian Empire, and will bring light to the great shadow there. Only when it is finished can I bring true peace to this world. Will you help me with this, Armadyl?"
Armadyl hesitated due to seeing thousands being slaughtered in this storming of the city, then asked Saradomin,
"Is there no other way to stop the bloodshed?"
The god of wisdom shook his head, and then told the aviansie god,
"The Staff you used is here, as is the Stone. They must be protected from those who would use their power for evil."
The two gods vanished from the foot of the mountain, heading to the great city of Senntisten.
