I agree in the feeling that at the end of all this there probably will be a choice between going with Zaros or Seren. But I also think they will add a neutral option perhaps the option to kill both. At least I hope so.
I really would rather not see a "good" answer to the delema. It takes away from the moment if you can win a no win senerio, which is really what this is supposed to be. If there was a everyone lives opinion then how would the boss fights with Azzy and Braxorian work? I mean that's a big part too.
Also T2+t2+lower t1 should be a average t1, which is about what we're going for.
Maybe you can fight both Azzy and Baxtorian
(or will you rather fight against Mah?)

Since when is Seren in FOTG2?
Runescape doesn't need a hero...it needs a villain. An all encompassing force of evil that will remain ever-threatening and use chaos to make the peoples of Gielinor tolerate each other, grow strong together, and fight side by side against this evil. I am that villain.

Well to be fair, Seren IS from Freneskae, she's the "light" to Zaros' "darkness," both created by Mah. If Zaros can sense that something is amiss on Freneskae, I'd imagine Seren is too.

I doubt he's sensing it, I'm pretty sure it's because Freneskae is his base of operations. Seren hates Freneskae and the Mahjarrat, so I doubt she'd be interested.

Lots of interesting ideas here. All I can say is, if I'm given the option, I'm choosing to empower Zamorak. The kewlest dude on Gielinor. I think if he has the necessary raw power, then his vast field experience and tactical genius from years as a military leader will prove more effective at dealing with Mah than the 2 prodigies.

There's also little reason for her to leave Prifddinas. I mean depending on whether Haluned was added to her or not she may intend to, but not at this moment. Then again if she did come to Freneskae and saw the fight, she's likely to either leave them to it or help Zaros out as his sister. Unless of course we're lucky and get to see her tear Sliske apart.

Then how does Zamorak find out?

Gielinor is Zaros's base of operations now.
Mah is tearing their home apart, She, Zaros, and the Mahjarrat have a connection to her and the planet, so they're all returning for a final goodbye, to pick something up they left behind, or maybe even to confront Mah.
That's at least what the initial description was for it, so yes, if Zaros senses anything to do with Freneskae being wrecked, Seren would too, and return for likely Mahs sake.

I was thinking the other boss could be fought post quest for like a 10k combat xp lamp or something like that. So that we can have unique mechanics on both without feeling like people are missing something. Just the post quest fight would be a "friendly dual" or something of that nature, where as in the quest we're going for blood.
Choices I want to avoid are things like the end of birthright of the dwarves, where your somehow able to convince someone to not die by talking to them (thats not how being mortally wounded works) and that you can somehow override the ruling council to make political decisions. If theres an answer thats clearly "right" then why offer anything else?
On the other end why offer a strictly "wrong" choice. Mighty fall's choice was close to this, I know killing Zanik had some merit but betraying your friends is rarely called for and I don't think the quest really justified it.
Honestly if Zamorak is, as I've been saying, the neutral party. He could illuminate the negative points of both choices right before the actual choice is made, during the "holy shit bro this is happening" moment.
