Still consider myself a Zarosian, but if his ambition drives him further to an 'ends justify the means' approach I might need to reconsider.

I find myself in agreement with all of this second post, apart from this statement, I've changed from Zarosian to Armadylean. I just don't feel right near Zaros anymore, just generally an unsafe feeling.

Armadyl also has given me a reason to rethink my thoughts on Ilujanka.

Since doing Sliske's Endgame I've been talking to Armadyl, and something he says just makes me feel all conflicted.

That last part, "I offered to take them to another world, to save them. But they just smiled and shook their heads."

The Ilujanka accepted their fate much alike that feline species, Hannibus was from a time when the Ilujanka were seeking a cure, but now? Do they even want to be cured? If a way forward was handed to them, would they just deny it and pass away like the feline species?

We currently only have one Ilujanka that is known to currently want to cure the race, Vindicta. Hannibus depends on whether you leave him with Kerapac or not, assumedly giving up the hope of curing the race if he leaves with Sharrigan.

This whole time I've only been Zarosian because I wanted Zaros to upkeep his promise and cure the race, but now I'm not so sure. I agree with Armadyl so much about everything I don't even think I am Zarosian anymore.

I still want more than anything to have the Ilujanka cured, but is it even right?

As a side but interesting note to go with this, how has this quest effected your opinion of the faction followers?

Azzanadra surprised me with his very obvious disgust of Moia, not because of her alligence but her actual race and appearance. Of all the Mahjarrat to react in such a way I didn't think it would be him.

Lol, poor Moia. I actually felt bad for her when Zaros and Azzanadra started to talk about her. Kudos to Zamorak for saying she can speak for herself.
Agreed. He really should know better as he allied with the World Guardian, WHO IS A HUMAN. And maybe respect Saradomin as he attained a level of order rivalling Zaros' empire and rose to tier 3, AND IS ALSO A HUMAN. Azzanadra is disappointed? Nah, he's racist to humans.

I will say this; I disagree with Zaros' attitude and some of his methods. But I'm in sympathy with his philosophy that we should grow stronger and wiser through every experience, and not allow ourselves to surrender to weakness or depression.

I only got to the second wave of the Sliske fight but once I'm done, I may just consider being my own faction leader. This would combine the best parts of Zarosian, Serenist and Armadylean philosophy to create a community which grows together. We would share our experiences with each other, go on adventures separately or in teams, then come back and tell the rest all of our stories for each to learn from and become better people. Love, mercy, strength and intelligence would play vital key parts to my faction, if I could make one.

Armadyl, Seren, Zamorak, Saradomin all have positive lore associated with them too lol. The most negative thing associated with Saradomin at this point is you.

I think he means Zaros needs more negatives

I do not recommend guessing what he thinks. It's never very coherent.

I think this is a very clear one

Then it's a false premise because Zaros has plenty of negative lore. He's just incredibly powerful which Pado resents.

I think the most negative lore Saradomin got from this quest was him being too similar to Zaros. What does that tell you?

It was always funny seeing Zarosians talk about opposing Saradomin for this very reason. Saradomin is what Zaros was before he got betrayed by Zamorak. They have the same arrogance, self-righteousness, and a tendency to crush anyone who gets in their way. They also both have tempers at getting denied their way. Zaros has just gotten better at controlling himself and has realized he can be defeated.

But we've strayed a long way off topic.

Saradomin is "stubborn/arrogant" because his convinced his approach to Order works, and when he gets angry its out of insecurity for his Order. Saradomin's Order is like a thesis with step-by-step processes which deeply analyse each situation to attempt to predict if it will lead to chaos by creating a crack in the order within the future, then to quickly root it out as soon as possible before the cracks spread.

So far he continues to follow is cause it hasn't "failed miserably", infact its worked and lead to prosperity of his empire/civilisation. This is why Saradomin stubbornly clings onto his current approach to order, if it were to suddenly fail and a "Zamorak" kind of betrayal happened that brought it down + convinced him it has failed then he would abandon it.

When has this happened? Saradomin: "My empire/order failed and could not protect my followers/people, end of story. To try and repeat it again would be folly, a new approach is needed but this time I will not be an emperor." ~said Saradomin never.

Zaros was also convinced his form of control worked and clung onto it until he was proven wrong. Saradomin sees far into the future difference is and implements his thesis, along with steps that his held onto for so long due to them always working out. Which was how he knew to prevent a "Zamorak" from happening.

Zaros: Nothing new there. Even before the End game i slightly regreted i did not give him the light body instead, regardless, it would have gone either way in the end, perhaps?

I do take it slightly personal when he threatened to destroy me, if i didn't give him the stone.

But at least, i had a good laugh when Jas told him "no" about his arrogance for his birthright. I do believe he'll be more reckless now after he got put on his place.

Seren: No big hate or big love. She's just Seren to me. (Nothing much to say right now or to add to it)

Saradomin: Still the same but with more hate towards him.
He is just another Zaros/Bandos to me, but he uses righteous and virtues with all that is good/right as a excuse.

Armadyl:

A:Gentlemen please, there is a time and a place for this argument and neither of them are now.

A: On second thoughts if we're going to unleash our rage somewhere, I think the perfect target has just dropped in.

Z: Try it. It's been so long since I've had the pleasure of watching an avianse burn.

A: I'LL KILL YOU!

His Justice towards Zamorak will be revenge instead. Yet, it is him that needs to pay for his own crimes

when he told me he was molting, that he felt his naked skin again.. I had a a funny yet slightly disturbing image in my head..

Me: Okay, remember what Sliske has said.

Sliske: Okay what ever you do, don't go-

"Arma: Feels like i'm wearing nothing at all! Nothing at all! NOTHING AT ALL!"

Me: Stupid sexy Armadyl!

Sliske: Finally beated him up instead. Annoyingly, he had the last laugh.. again.
I'll be back.

Zamorak: He's still Zamorak to me. When he and Arma encountered, he told him what i always thought about him. It is HIS fault for the death of his species, Zamorak wanted the other gods dead, unknow what the consequences would be.

In the end, all are guilty, perhaps, one more then the other.

Do you think Zamorak is a "good" person? After seeing him taunt Armadyl like that it's pretty clear he has no real regret, which makes for an interesting contrast to Saradomin who seems to have a lot of it but doesn't let it influence him. I was kinda disappointed Zammy let himself get influenced by Zaros' aura again, even if he was without his divine protection.

Also would you let Zamorak kill Seren? He seems to really want to.

What would their motivations possibly be, if they are infact trying to make him into a "Zarodomin" character?
