Since doing Sliske's Endgame I've been talking to Armadyl, and something he says just makes me feel all conflicted.
That last part, "I offered to take them to another world, to save them. But they just smiled and shook their heads."
The Ilujanka accepted their fate much alike that feline species, Hannibus was from a time when the Ilujanka were seeking a cure, but now? Do they even want to be cured? If a way forward was handed to them, would they just deny it and pass away like the feline species?
We currently only have one Ilujanka that is known to currently want to cure the race, Vindicta. Hannibus depends on whether you leave him with Kerapac or not, assumedly giving up the hope of curing the race if he leaves with Sharrigan.
This whole time I've only been Zarosian because I wanted Zaros to upkeep his promise and cure the race, but now I'm not so sure. I agree with Armadyl so much about everything I don't even think I am Zarosian anymore.
I still want more than anything to have the Ilujanka cured, but is it even right?

I think my thread's going to be killed off due to inactivity. T_T
I decided I'm going to change my character on it, but the TokHaar Ilujanka is going to be a boss as I think a dragon rider with an obsidian carapace with his mount able to turn into liquid magma may just be a teeny bit OP.
As for saving the Ilujanka, I decided to let Hannibus go home but I'm not counting out Vindicta or any other survivors being able to help. The race as well as the singing felines Armadyl mentioned both have strong affinities with fate as does Zaros, but I like to think that fate is never a fixed thing. Difficult to bend, but it is possible to save peoples who claim to be destined to die off. This is why I'm staying Zarosian; I have hope.

Aw, I'd join but I really am not that good with RPs, my own personal characters roleplaying is pretty much entirely in my own mind.
*Below spoilers are of Sliske's Endgame and Children of Mah.
I still want to save the Ilujanka, there has to be ones that don't want the race to end.
I did in fact leave Hannibus with Kerapac, and I still trust that I made the right choice there.
Though I'm no longer Zarosian, I still wear my Zaros Anima Core. Only I now situate it with Vindicta and the Ilujanka more than with Zaros.
As of right now, Kerapac is the only one I have trust in both knowledge and how likely he is to help.
Zaros, I find my trust in his knowledge wavering.
You can thank Jas for that.
And as above
Kharshai
I trust would be very likely to help, but I doubt how much knowledge he'd have on the subject.

I have to confess I'm not that confident in RPing myself, but in this one you can practically be anything you like and forge your own destiny. It's practically RuneScape with fire raining down, black rocks and tentacles bursting from the ground, the sea turning red and bubbling slowly (in the cast of the Archipelago the bubbles are actually belching orange steam), and fighting is everywhere. My new character is a goblin with a wooden leg who defected to Zamorak after all that happened.
But I basically designed it to be so that you can do whatever you like in what I like to call HellScape, and the only real rule is no godmodding.
I won't pressure you or anything, sorry if I'm being that way.

No worries, it's just my personal roleplays are more slice of life, my character have their adventures in-game, then in my mind it's just going about regular days, focusing on interactions between them.
Not one for the exciting mega-adventures with them.
Though this is starting to move off to a different topic.
I was thinking back on the first page about the Ilujanka's diets. (Remember that seeds and nuts thing
)
But continuing from when I speculated that those were fins on their backs and tails, Ilujanka do have sharp teeth, not suited for vegetation so I'm certain they'd eat meat. Possibly fish, their weapon choices seemed to be lances, and spearing fish could be the start of how they adapted their fighting styles on Gielinor.

Iaia is covered in swamps, right? So the Ilujanka may have originally been amphibious or ate stuff like plants, insects, fish, frogs, that type of thing. From what I hear, insects are a good source of protein and spears would be the weapon of choice in thick undergrowth, which would explain the tribesmen on Karamja. (I know Karamja is a jungle but it still has thick undergrowth and the wildlife I just mentioned.)
The Gurh may have been failed experiments by the Dragonkin which lacked the savagery of dragons, but just happened to be compatible with the Ilujanka. The connection might be similar to the blue people on Avatar, but on a spiritual level as opposed to tendrils growing out of their hair.

Yes, the swamps were the source of my thoughts behind the fins. Also Hannibus does have webbed feet too which would aid swimming. (Yet Vindicta doesn't seem to.)
And insects could be a possibility, we have no idea the size of the insects on Iaia. (Saying that the insects on Gielinor aren't any small things either.
)
I think the Gurh were probably just a natural creature on their world, I don't believe the Dragonkin would ever have needed a reason to go to Iaia after all, Dragonkin mostly followed False Users and since Iaia is described as a place with no war I don't believe any False Users went there and attracted the attention of a Dragonkin.
