PART 1

It is generally believed that Order can only be achieved by taking chaos out of the picture. Chaos can only be achieved by removing order. By completely wiping out order one ensures absolute chaos. By wiping out chaos one can ensures total order. However one cannot totally wipe out chaos. Chaos is in everything, it is in nature and created artificially out of nothing by humans. However order cannot be created out of nothing, there must first be chaos present to create order from it. You cannot create order without chaos being there first.

Saradomin wishes to create a world without chaos and ensure order reigns. This is impossible. It is impossible to achieve infinite order unless one has total dominance over everything. Over nature, over people, over everything as stated before. Saradomin cannot have a world devoid of chaos because chaos will always rise up from nothing and order cannot be imposed unless there is chaos present to have order imposed upon it. If one completely destroys chaos, which is impossible, one destroys order. Saradomin is Naive to this.

Saradomin's mission cannot be achieved. He cannot have his perfect world where he rules over all and have no chaos. Zamorak's mission on the other hand can be achieved. He knows that chaos will always be a part of the universe. Instead of fighting against it and trying to completely eliminate it, he seeks to overcome it when it arises. He knows that chaos will always rear its head from nowhere. When it does you must see it as a challenge and overcome it. Those who are prepared for the coming chaos will triumph over it, those who remain blind to it, believing that it is truly gone will be devoured by it when it returns...

Zamorak's philosophy is not only valid, it is followed by those who despise him. Saradomin himself views Zamorak as an obstacle to triumph over. By trying to overcome him he is following Zamorak's own philosophy unwillingly. Only weaklings refuse to meet the challenge chaos presents, and only fools believe that chaos can be sidestepped completely. This brings me to my next point...

PART 2:

What does Saradomin hope to achieve by destroying chaos? Does he wish to rule over everyone and chaos is a threat to his order? The keyword in this is "His". His order; his rule; his desire. Many gods preach order or incorporate order. Zaros, Armadyl, Seren, all of them seek order. So why does he see Zaros as an enemy? Is it because he knows Zaros is a threat to HIS order? Is he afraid that others could find there are more then one ways to achieve order and that he could be seen as irrelevant? Saradomin desires order, but only order that he imposes. All other ways are a danger to him because if there are ways to achieve order without his philosophy then why is he needed at all...

PART 3:

What is Saradomin's philosophy? He wants order, but order is not a philosophy. He desires wisdom, but wisdom is not a philosophy. More specifically, how does he go about achieving his philosophy? If it truly is as simple as "Chaos is bad and must be destroyed" doesn't that make him ignorant of what Chaos truly is. Chaos cannot be destroyed as stated before. What does he hope to gain through accomplishing this impossible task?

PART 4:

If Saradomin achieves wiping out all chaos, which he can't, what then? If there is no chaos then there is no balance at all. If there is no balance then there is only Saradomin's order. If there is only Saradomin's order there is no freedom. Chaos is freeing, it allows, nay, it forces you to spread your wings and soar. The ultimate freedom is yours through chaos, Zamorak's chaos. Zamorak: Father of invention. Progress can only be achieved if there is chaos first. Just as Zamorak says, where there is order there is stagnation.

PART 5:

If we know that chaos brings progress and Saradomin's order does not then why does Saradomin not want chaos? Simple: He does not want progress. Where there is progress there is advancement. Advancement in technology, education, transportation, all these things and more. People become more independent and FREE. Saradomin despises this. If people are independent then what is he there for? Friendship? Moral Support? No, Saradomin needs to be seen as more important then that. He needs to be the cornerstone of civilization.

Once civilization progresses to the point of independence, Saradomin will no longer be worshiped because he will no longer be seen as worthy of worship. Why worship someone who wants to reign in your freedom and clip your wings (pun intended), forcing you to remain dependent on him. Zamorak does not want to be worshiped, he doesn't want you to need him. Where there is need there is weakness. If you remain dependent on someone for too long what happens when they are gone?

PART 6:

Time for some LORE!

When Saradomin left the Icyenic realm what happened? Did the Icyene begin to further themselves and there society? No, they fell into a state of famine and fell prey to rogues and bandits. Why? Because they were DEPENDENT on Saradomin to do it all for them.

Saradomin is the god of freeloaders, the lazy, the people who want it all handed to them. Saradomin is the god of welfare, giving incentive to people to remain dependent and helpless. And what do they do in return? They worship him for it. Thus begins the cycle, the cycle of Giving-Recieving-Dependance-Worship-Back again. It is an unbreakable cycle because if the cycle breaks then the people who were just moments ago living comfortable, are now lost and helpless, like they were all along only now, there is no one there to allow them to wallow in their neediness. But Saradomin doesn't want that to happen, he is all too eager to allow others to depend upon him for everything.

PART 7:

Why do people follow Saradomin? Because they are rewarded for it. Rewarded for their neediness, for their loyalty, for their worship. Let's look at one of the more prominent Saradominists, shall we?

Sir Amik Varze:
The de facto leader of Falador and leader of the white knights (He's also a drunkard). He maintains order in Falador through martial law and the help of the temple knights, the CIA of Gielinor. They keep tabs on you your cat and your favorite lawn gnome (Is it racist to own one in Gielinor?) So why does Saradomin condone this blatant abuse of power and not Zaros' use of spying to maintain order. Simple: Because they are HIS spies promoting HIS order. Saradomin is a hypocrite...

No other god is as sanctimoniously pious as Saradomin. He acts the way he does because he knows he can get away with it. None of his followers will question because they are too busy pegging him with their "needs", basically their wants. And what happens when someone calls them or him out on it? Banishment, excommunication, imprisonment, slander, all sorts of persecution in general.

The people that work to overcome challenges are villainized by the gluttons who are so accustomed to their freeloading lifestyle all others are a threat to theirs. And they are all to eager to take someone who has nothing to do with Zamorakianism or any other religion other than an antonym like Solus Dellagar and take their misdeeds and paint the whole group as evil.

And now let's look at a more prominent true Zamorakian...

Lord Daquarius Renna(rd):
At one point a simple black knight captain, Lord Daquarius quickly moved up the ranks of the Kinshra through hard work and ambition, nothing ever handed to him, eventually becoming lord of the Kinshra. He is undeniably noble and has risked his own life to save his men. His soldiers are loyal to him because of this, not because he coddles them and answers every request they come to him with, and he is respected by his adversaries.

The Church of Zamorak even excommunicated many of its members in the the late fourth/early fifth age for promoting violence against Saradominists, a far cry from how the Church of Saradomin treats outsiders. Locking up Zamorakian monks in cages and enslaving demons. The White Knights personally drove out the Kinshra from Falador. What was the crime all these people committed? Following Zamorak.

PART 8:

Overall, Saradomin has less of a philosophy and more of a lifestyle. Zamroakianism is a philosophy and a lifestyle. It allows you to further yourself, your society, conquer challenges when they are presented to you and gives you the ultimate freedom. Saradominism is great for those who follow it. It allows them to have many burdens lifted and many wants given to them. It also brings stagnation and lack of preparation for when things go wrong.

With Zamorakinsm, your path might be difficult, it most certainly will be, but it will allow you to be better off then you were before. You will not be able to freeload or depend on welfare given to you by Zamorak. Your reward will be greater. Independence, freedom, progress and advancement. You will be able to overcome immense obstacles on your own, without needing some deity to do it for you.

Zamorakianism, while not the best, is far superior to Saradomin's have baked philosophy of neediness and welfare in exchange for worship. Followers of Zamorak are prepared for chaos and will meet it with a smile, knowing it will better them and they know that they will triumph over it.
