Whilst I can guarantee as you put it there is no profanity there but there is flamebaiting. So let's not escalate the situation.
How is it flambaiting to jokingly yell "haters get out REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" to a guy who made a joke about safe spaces? How is joking around flambaiting? Did you think I was unironically screeching?
How's it flambaiting for me to say "hey guys, thanks for rightfully calling me out for acting like the sort of beta cuck I'd mock, who gets butthurt way to easily when his thread isn't as well received as he hoped it'd be on the free market of ideas?"

I don't really know where I stand. As a follower of Zaros i want him to succeed, but at the same time recent events have opened my eyes to how he has been in the past and while it has not shaken my faith, i also trying to distance myself some so that I will behave in a manner befitting of the World Guardian. Since it is my responsibility to stand between the Gods and Gielinor i have to be willing to make tougher choices, even stopping Zaros from fulfilling his plan if it endangers the Gielinor or its inhabitants
In the current day and age i do not think trying to resurrect the Zarosian Empire would be any better. Zaros does not seem interest in rebuilding it at all
I know what you mean, Endgame redpilled me on Zaros, espcially in that scene when he was like "gimme the stone or I'll kill you" (wtf was up with that, I would've given it to you! I would've done anything for you!), that quest gave me a huge slap on the face.
I realised the Zaros I thought I knew, wasn't the real Zaros.
I was like Azzanadra, I saw him with rose-coloured glasses on, except the Zaros I saw was even more idealised.
It shook me up pretty badly and I was taken back to The Light Within, when Zaros threw me aside for Seren, he'd been so cold...so unlike the Zaros from Fate of the Gods, so dismissive, after everything I'd done and was willing to do, as long as he asked. I'd been hurt then, but I decided to endure it; just suck it up y'know. But after the Endgame, I realised that if I kept calm and endured this, it'd happen again and again, Zaros would never appreciate me, I could work myself to death, and he'd still be apathetic over me, he'd never care the way I cared for him.
So I left his faction.
I had nothing against his followers--the Zarosian Mahjarrat were all all right to me, especially Azzanadra (I was prepared to defend him when people bashed him for telling Moia the cold, hard truth that miscegenation would never save

his people, it'd ruin them, 'cause it'd dilute their bloodline, make them less pure), Vindicta was all right too (even though I'll never support the dragon riders=reptilians thing, dragon riders should be pretty, not scaly), Nex was cool, but Char sucks ('cause she beat me too many times to count while I was doing Firemaker's Curse).
I still wished them the best, including the desert bandits (lots of people forget about them), and when I saw they were still living in a ****hole, even though none of the other Zarosians had it as bad, I thought "all right, it's time to make them great again, and I have just the plan!" if Zaros doesn't do it, someone else should.

Nex is essentially a mix of aviansie, demon, vampyre and Icyene all rolled up into one, with a shard of Zaros thrown in. And that's not even counting the fact that the Nihil are artificial life that needed energy harvested from Mah to be mobile. She's a mix of all of these things at once and could potentially stand against gods, and you think mixed breeding is bad. Lol.
As for the Zarosians in general, they went out in hiding ever since the God Wars broke out, and even in the Empire they were left to pretty much do their own thing. Zaros is basically a father figure who gives advice then gives you freedom and leeway to do your own thing afterwards.

Genetic engineering's not the same as "mixed breeding" in the conventional sense.

That's...debatable. In Fate of the Gods 2, we find out Zaros monitored the empire with his mouthpieces, though I'm not sure if he monitored everyone or if he just pulled a 1984 and only monitored the...ruling noble class.
In either case are you really free to do your own thing if you're watched and you know you'd better do as Zaros likes or else?
Plus, I just find it hard to believe that the god of control would leave other people alone, yes...he ran his Empire with a hands off approach, but he had other people acting as the nanny state in his place.

More like a dad who thinks you're never good enough.

More like a distant chessmaster who uses you as a pawn.
Maybe a knight/bishop, if you think really highly of yourself.
Patrolling Lore FC almost makes you wish for a Great Revision.

Either way he'll toss me aside as soon as I stop being useful or sacrifice me for a greater goal.
That's why I left, I cared for him more than he cared for me, that's not healthy.
