I had some respect for him after Death of Chivalry.
Then he acted twice as arrogant in MPD, gloating about his victory over Zamorak in BOL, even going so far to call Icthlarain a dog and telling him to not even pretend to be as wise as himself.
*respect for Sara goes out the window again*
Well, as Kittyphantom pointed out above, Saradomin never called Icthlarin a dog. In addition, he just conquered his long-standing rival in a very recent battle, so it's no surprise he's kind of on a "victory high" at the moment.
I must point out that although I am not Saradominist, I do understand his point of view and I have a certain level of respect for the blue giant, despite his transgressions against my Lord.

Saradomins primary concern is that of the people and those who he protects
He did a great job with Lumbridge did*’t he, initiated the battle, took the power and left, he seemed very concerned with Lumbridge and his people
Now the lil rant is done, he probably is concerned lol
But it also shows that saradomin probably won’t go out his way to help anyone that doesn’t follow him.

Saradomin's motivations here are almost entirely benevolent
(to the wand business in DoC)
Let’s put emphasise on
almost
shall we, there is then another motive, he may feel responsible for peoples deaths and wants to use the wand to bring them back, but that isn’t just it is it. that might be the main reason but he probably also wants them to fight for him again, which I think is dam right wrong

I don't think he would condemn a demon who was committed to his ideals.
I would love to see that, maybe it could be a blue demon

Hmmm…interesting but just a few things

'Initiated the battle'
Well what was he meant to do, realistically, just let Zamorak blast up the ground and possibly start hitting people?
'Took the power and left'
Despite his victory, his forces suffered heavy losses. After any large-scale battle, the leader of an army does not stand around when they have far more pressing matters, like regrouping so they can face any new threats that might arise.
'Seemed very concerned with Lumbridge and its people'
Let's see, stayed in hiding for three months, then the moment Zamorak starts blasting up the ground and nearly killing people (and let's face it, Zamorak would not have cared if he did) Saradomin showed up, forfeiting any future element of surprise that he was back, in order to stop him.

Until the crater was formed, he didn't even
know
the power was there. And he was not exactly going to just let Zamorak (who at this point had shown his willingness to blast stuff regardless of people standing there) take it, was he?

Regardless of he not knowing he was just there to fight Zamorak not to protect the people of Lumbridge... His enemy from the god wars showed up all he cared about was fighting Zamorak... in all reality why are people standing near a mysterious portal when people know the gods can come back... As much as I dont like Zamorak its not his fault people are standing there

his logic for this is basically that his own followers are of primary concern, seeing as this is the attitude of all gods, with the exception of Bandos, who doesn't care, it's not that big of a surprise.

Zamorak's own concerns are not at all for his own people, if he had the wand himself, he would be using it to raise an undead army. As for those that were resurrected by Saradomin, I think that they would probably have a choice between fighting and...not fighting.

But all our races are all outsiders lol
Technically, he fights to protect his followers from the other followers, or, at least this is what he seems to do.
