You realise there are problems with that kind of thing besides the obvious squick, right? Yes, I understand it's not at all appropriate for us intelligent races, but is there really any other option? Besides the Wand of Resurrection, of course. Pretty much, if the centaurs were resurrected, they'd be skeletons. Roses are grey, violets are grey, I'm in Pompeii, I'm lost.

Exactly. I agreed to his quest to protect the wand from abuse by evil forces such as that witch. I just did so by (trying to) break it. He needs to not attack potential allies just because they don't kiss his feet like Owen. Headcanon Haven, where everything is made up and the points don't matter.

I didn't see it. If anything, they've gradually cut back on the subtlety since The World Wakes with his veiled threat (It would be wise to ensure you're on the right side when that violence begins.) His arrogance was staggering in Missing, Presumed Death. It seemed like everyone in that room (except maybe Armadyl, Icthlarin, and the cabbage) was trying to assert dominance over the room by threats and boasting how much power they have. Headcanon Haven, where everything is made up and the points don't matter.

A lot of people were bashing Saradomin for only protecting the Imcando dwarves after BotD was released. Mod John A said

Would it be fair to say that at least part of the reason why Saradomin wants the wand is to make up for his past failings, and give the Centaurs a second chance? Could it be possible to restore some of the fallen Naragi to amend such things?

So yeah, that's a bit contrary to what you've said.

I had some respect for him after Death of Chivalry.

Then he acted twice as arrogant in MPD, gloating about his victory over Zamorak in BOL, even going so far to call Icthlarain a dog and telling him to not even pretend to be as wise as himself.

Saradomin didn't call Icthlarin a dog. That was Zamorak. (Zamorak called him a dog multiple times, in fact.)

Saradomin also didn't speak of 'pretending'... So your memory seems to be slightly confused there as well.

I did check a quest transcript to verify, mind you.
The Asgarnian ale must flow.
