I meant Paladin's Saradomin fetish... He takes this thing way too seriously, to the point where it's just sad.

It's like Paladin saying "Your imaginary friend looks stupid!" .

You can't really get offended, because your imaginary friend isn't even real.

In this case, the imaginary friend is Saradomin, and Paladin acts like Saradomin is real and that by offending something that does not exist outside of a Virtual Reality called Runescape, he's somehow offending us.

I think a lot of people take this game to serious, considering how many people rage at me when i jokingly say one of the gods (not always the same god) is a d bag or a **** or even if i say they are Eviilllllll, (slept exactly like that).

Ahhh! That Mod Jack post! I just spent time saving a bunch of Mod Jack posts from the brink of extinction via thread bumping, but... That post! I remember that post, but I don't remember if it was amongst the posts I just saved... Is it... Is it already dead?
The Asgarnian ale must flow.

Still, I understand full well what Nullius is talking about. At times it seems like Paladin's anger at Saradomin is unhealthily consuming him. This is why I've been wondering where Paladin's anger at Saradomin actually comes from because it certainly can't be the character itself. Personally, I have two theories that hinge on him equating Saradominism to the Catholic Church: either he's mad because he's a militant Atheist in real life and Christianity is his arch nemesis, or because he's actually a devout Catholic and feels like Saradomin's actions make the church look like power-hungry monsters which personally offends him.

He used to be quite reasonable, so my guess is he was peer-pressured by his factions' trolls into becoming an idiot. No, seriously, that's genuinely the only explanation I can think of.

I'm afraid it is. The only reason I was able to retrieve it is because I remembered quoting it once to PercyJakks0n.

Still, even with Lethal and Unicornz it's obvious they don't actually care about Saradomin and simply say the things they do because it's the easiest way to get the biggest reaction. With Paladin, it feels like his hatred for Saradomin is genuine and that he was personally wronged by Saradomin in real life in some way or another.

Maybe he was wronged by Saradominists... Or he feels some deep love for Garlandia and the Naragi.

A waifu is a female fictional character that people consider to be their wife because of what is generally an unhealthy obsession with them. In my case, mine would be Reika from Gantz.

Saradomin's Book of Wisdom

That was actually changed when they updated the god books. It doesn't say that anymore.
