Ahh so that image of it being covered in giant hurricanes is still the correct one? What i was meaning by saying he had made a mistake was on stage he described it as a lava-y planet based on my picture, which was a contradiction to when you said its not lava like at all but instead the crater was filled with water. From what he said onstage it sounded like he had confirmed the image in my picture to now be the canon one. Honestly i prefer your idea of it being a hurricane planet more for the aviantse
I'll be putting together a thread with all my research/notes/questions sometime soon, would be great if you could clean up any quick queries there still are

Ok so i've been doing some tinkering and i've got an early draft of a new version. But 1st off i think its best to show a clearer pic of the 1st map to show where its come from there:
From that and your rune hierarchy i've so far gotten this in the style you did in the stream:
I like how it actually looks like a world tree now. Its coming along but still a few notes and queries:
I've added the primordial realm from SC as an asteroid field of failed proto worlds
The hostilus rift is the ingame location "the abyss", the teleport nexus zaros made out of the demon hostilus. The top of this nebula cloud might be tinted blue to be the runespan
Abbinah has been separated from kethsi to balance out the picture although i still think these 2 need a close connection due to arma's line in MPD that they're very close. Maybe upgrade abbinah from smoke to chaos to represent lightning? Its described as being a very chaotic world afterall and then i can move it up into the same segment. Plus being lightning can tie in the killerwatt plane as being inside abbinahs thunder storm
Remark fragments have been added, this place has VERY strong anima and balanced to govern the seasons on gilenor, stated to come very close so i made it the cosmic rune planet, can also tie in the cosmic plane as a fragment too
Ocularis came out of nowhere. I assume its where all the dunge creatures come from but other than that i have nothing. Any more information would be handy
I know you said your not thinking of using the 2nd planet in the observatory but dont just scrap it, use it! I made it mazcab, that place has seriously strong anima and its people have a close understanding of it. I mean it spawns numerous anima guardians stronger than vorago (yaka and raids 2 bosses). Maybe it was the 1st attempt at gilenor but it wasnt QUITE right, so they made another planet that being gilenor which did turn out perfect

One of the biggest issues is the map is lop-sided. There are ALOT of worlds on the bik path, very little on the others. The wen path only has 2 and they're both high grade runes, no low planets. Ful only has 1 planet and jas has 2 which i still strongly think should be in the same system. Looking through the lore there are a few hinted worlds which havnt been touched on yet:
Armadyl mentions a planet of just water. This could be teragard but could also be a mist rune planet for the lower end of the wen path. Maybe the homeworld of the sirens from the arc?
Do you know the name of the dwarf homeworld? We know it exists but closest thing i've found is the name bordanzan mentioned in between a rock. Could be the dust rune (mentioned by armadyl) or just plain earth planet?
The fairy world cheanannis from last years stream, i'm thinking is this maybe one of naragun's moons and not a full planet, similar to zanaris? Or maybe renmarks moon?
Armadyl also mentions a few other worlds. One with a dying star inhabited by singing felines, one with a boiling sky and black armored creatures (the steam rune, ful path?). One thats just a gas giant, maybe the pure wind planet?
I also noticed there is hinted to be a planet of poison somewhere, the riftsplitter demon in dungeoneering opens a poison rift. I'm thinking this could be the planet of the death rune, maybe high wen/ful path? This could also tie in with the spider realm, the home of the araxytes perhaps?
So theres still a few spots to fill as you can see. I'm also think its important to have some planets share a same system, both to condense the picture and also to make the worlds more interesting and more connected, with a shared history instead of "everythings separate and unrelated"
But yeah thats quite alot of info which you probably havnt decided on yet. But do let me know if i'm on the right trail and if you have any names or descriptions lying around which could be used to fill in the gaps here

I'd be happy to hop on to your project of creating a clear map of the runescape universe. (In terms of information gathering ofcourse, I'm not an artist like you

First of all, things I love:
* Renmark being aligned with cosmic and having the cosmic entity's plane be a part of Renmark. That clears up a part of the prevision lore that was completely unclear.
* Renmark is placed beside the void. Renmark is where guthix accidentaly pierced the void and shatered the elder blade.
* Hostilius rift is located on the map, it is a central piece of the abyss and should definetly be on there!
* The primordial realm being located on the map. It is one of my favourite pieces of lore and I love that it's on the map.
but there are some things that don't check out.
* Some worlds had multiple creators
* This affects the paths of the elder gods because sometimes they reunited in pairs.
* In the current represantation it is a bit unclear how large the abyss is since it is represented by lines in some areas and tiles in other areas.
I've made a draft of a map myself to let you know what I would suggest.
Brown path: all elder gods
Yellow path: Jas
Green path: Bik
Blue path: Wen
Red path: Ful
The height of the world represents its place on the plane-scale.
* Lower planes
* Elemental planes
* Transcendental planes (Primordial planes, higher planes, catalytic planes)
* Balanced plane(s)
(WARNING: large picture. )
Alternative picture with tiles clearly visible:
Edit: Apparently, the picture gets downsized when it's too large. To see it more clearly 'd advise to download it.
