Wait, was it actually confirmed Guthix was stronger than either of the other T2 gods?
that G is stronger than Z is only confirmed by jmods, but that G is stronger than S is also suggested by S's chapters in the book of the gods

Guthix was confirmed as the strongest of the "Young gods" with only the Elders being stronger. Guthix only took knowledge from the Stone of Jas, unlike some. It was Seren that showed him how to connect to the Anima Mundi. With that and the knowledge he had gained, he became extremely powerful.

Guthix being more powerful than Zaros has been a thing since the postbags, no? Might even have been the god letters, I can't really remember.
those are unfortunately both noncanon now (and also... a tad 'fortunately' since the new lore makes more sense)
Guthix says he's never heard of Zaros though he feels he should know who he is... and for the rest I dont think there was any mention of their relationship
and seren was a minor nature goddess back then

Actually I believe the story was he at first used the Stone to create certain things (runes and the Runecrafting altars), but somehow learned (possibly through the Stone itself) that using it for power would be.. dangerous. At that point, he used it only to gain insight into the world and into the Anima Mundi itself.

sliske knew what the staff could do far better than zamorak did
secondly, try to stab someone who's trying to stop you from doing so... not that easy (don't actually though). when you try it with someone who doesn't care, it's much easier
I don't think there's a massive difference (between people like g and people like zarosnseren)... they're mostly made of the same energy, even if they got it in different ways
'false gods' are when you realize that what you're worshipping either doesn't exist at all, or when you realize they're not that much different from you, certainly not so much that you'd worship them
with the latter they're all false
to me, I see the elder gods the way
I
see bacteria... they're just making food and eating it, rinse and repeat, they dont have any nifty objectives or goals, they just exist
they're below us, not above

It's been stated that tier 3 gods are capable of continent wide destruction and construction. Tumeken is tier 5 and he managed it, although he may have nearly killed himself doing it. If a tier 5 can burn a continent full of lush forest into scorching desert wasteland when they blow up, it's a miracle Gielinor survived when Seren shattered herself. Unless of course Tumeken is actually stronger than tier 5...
