It's been stated that tier 3 gods are capable of continent wide destruction and construction. Tumeken is tier 5 and he managed it, although he may have nearly killed himself doing it. If a tier 5 can burn a continent full of lush forest into scorching desert wasteland when they blow up, it's a miracle Gielinor survived when Seren shattered herself. Unless of course Tumeken is actually stronger than tier 5...
Wouldn't surprise me if Tumeken was stronger than that, though perhaps the Tier 5 is post-explosion. Maybe he used up so much of his power that some of it won't ever be able to be restored, like he's missing a piece of himself now, and it can't be returned.

IIRC it was confirmed he was T5 before the explosion. Either way, I don't think the explosion makes him more powerful than T5 . True, continent scale destruction is listed as a T3 ability, but Tumeken essentially detonated himself and used all his power for that act. A T3 on the other hand could do feats of that scale reliably, without using up virtually all their power and commiting suicide.

I'd also say Seren's shattering is very different from Tumeken's explosion. One is a god desperately using all the power he has to cause as much destruction as possible. The other is a godess splitting herself into thousands of smaller pieces to be with her people.

Tumeken wanted to cause as much destruction as possible to save his people. Seren didn't want any destruction when she shattered herself.

I have noticed your kind does tend to blindly stumble forward towards danger simply because it exists. What is your word for that?
- We call it being a hero.

The way you say it doesn't.. sit right with me. "Tumeken wanted to cause as much destruction as possible to save his people." It makes it sound like Tumeken was like "Welp, there's war. Better just cause mass destruction to end it." As if he wasn't backed into a corner by the Mahjarrat-led Zarosian forces, and left with literally no other choices than the self-detonation or the ruination of his people's entire kingdom.
I agree on the part about Seren though, it was a different kind of "eruption" altogether.
Also, I'd like to point out, wary of being repetitive, Tumeken isn't actually dead. He's just.. sleeping. :P

tumeken was tier 5 at the time of the explosion. If brassica wasnt the most well-known t5, people might not have laughed at zamorak as much for being t5 also... cabbage-tier :P

would not mind seeing brassica destroy half of asgarnia in a suicidal rage Ancient Drew said :

her intent wasn't to destroy anything but herself... it's more of a dismantling than an explosion of power

I think if z, g, or s did the same thing tumeken did, gielinor would be... over
ofcourse they wouldn't... g and s because they like life and z because it serves no purpose and he loves being alive too much
