Balustan, what's your source?

I finally listened to the second podcast earlier. It didn't say it was about werewolves. Maybe you were confused by a certain bit that seemed to be talking about Wolf Whistle, where you talk to the pet shop owner.

{Edit: And about how there's this guy in Canifis (Rufus, as the quest indicates) who supplies him with meat, and one of the types of meat that this Jmod had mentioned there was apparently 'long pig'.

This was possibly presented as an example of them toning down humour - They may have ended up removing the mention of 'long pig'. Looking on the internet now, this online dictionary has told me

'long pig (uncountable)
Human flesh used by cannibals as meat.'

...So, yeah, concerning the quest involves pigs, you can see how Balustan might have gotten confused.*
The Asgarnian ale must flow.

From Mod Osbornes 2 minute challenge: "The vampyres took over one room claiming it was theirs"

This gets said after Guthix wakes up at the end of the God Wars. Up to date confirmation that the vampyres invaded in the 4th Age. Although that video is a bit all over the place, everything he said post-3rd Age was all accurate within the timeline.

Excellent! I'll have to listen to it again to make sure that's what he means, but I'm glad that people will no longer be 'getting frustrated' at those of us who reckoned the successful invasion occured during the 4th Age.

Edit: Yep, it's true. However, it doesn't confirm the theory that Drakan had to conquer Morytania twice, but it doesn't rule it out either. Either way, it's good to get some knowledge about the timeline for once.

Vanstrom will come alive before this thread does if nobody posts!

On a serious note, we might find out some information about the Werewolves' practice of crossing the Salve if the pig quest is about them. How they're going to make that humorous is another matter.

Moving on again, do we know if the Postbag is still going?

There is scarce little to discuss right now. All this 6th age hype has killed off any hints to existing series :/

I see no reason why the postbag isn't but at the current rate we wont see a new one for quite some time. Its a shame, we need material to debate!

Last I heard the postbag is still a thing cause I was talking to Mod Michelle about backstory for certain characters and she said it might be good for a postbag but other than that I don't have any more info.

As for the series kind of concerned about what's gonna happen to it. Changing the story too much because of the lack of edicts would be too bad but we need them to play a role somehow cause this is the quest series that basically told us more about them.

Interestingly Nex lore explains the misinterpretation of the edicts that the conspirators had.

Original message details are unavailable.
Where is the book? I can't find a transcript of it for the life of me, so please be specific.

It's not a book it's erm the banker in the ancient prison tells you the story of how Sliske converted Saradominists to Guthixians at some point and told them if they performed a ritual they would wake him and he'd destroy the world. It explains why the legend came about.
