I dunno about ruins. As far as I'm concerned the true Vampyres are still there. Drakan is merely cut off from it. Why would they let their world fall into ruin?

I prefer to think they have amazing dark architecture. As for the original terrain idk. Maybe jungle but idk. A very dark jungle if a jungle.

To me it's very much a place alive but dominated by Vampyres.

I wouldn't go with jungle. I would like Zanovar's description. Dead Woods, big castles and eternal night. Suits the whole vampire mythology.

I got access to the beta but I haven't checked out Morytania yet. Many things look great so far, so I believe Morytania would look awesome as well.

Players can vote on Youtube for their favourite of 3 storylines to continue. Too bad Myreque can't be voted on :( .

I don't think we desperately need a new Myreque like some series. I would love another one mind you but I would understand why they would put Ana on primarily god content or something for now.

Btw did anyone else think the dwarf quest sounded terrible? It seems the political side and the memory loss and stuff has been forgotten for cb and explosions.

The pirate and gnome ones sounded great though.

I don't like the eternal night or ruins but that's my only issue. The other stuff is fine it's just not stuff I would pick. Daylight is only a weakened Vampyres weakness as far as I'm concerned so the true vampyres wouldn't need eternal darkness.

I wanted the pirate quest, but oh well :(

I wouldn't mind ruins with some context for them, but the day/night cycle of Vampyrium could be an interesting plot point in the future. I'm thinking a mania/dementia system like in Oblivion would be cool, with vampyres on the dark side and icyene on the light side, although I'm not sure if that would fit in with the lore. Makes the potential for some cool dimension jumping puzzles too

Manual bumps ftl x_x Anyway, replies will be coming sometime within the next week or so. No real excuses for me going out for as long as I was since march, just work caught up to me after a major shift turned things upside down for a long time and made me forget about the forums o_O

Well he is somewhat involved, I struggle to think of another way other than his ascension or the summoning of a god. The edicts from DoH seem to fall quite nicely underneath the god summoning business

I suppose it could be that he is making preparations to deal with the return of Saradomin and possibly the Icyene, although I'm interested to see if Vampyrium has a creator god similar to Freneskae.

Wasn't the thing that if Misthalin invaded Morytania, Drakan would summon reinforcements from beyond this world and another god war could begin or something?

So, maybe Drakan can now attempt to invade Misthalin without having to worry about the Edicts...

So, the content that Mod Ana is working on currently has southern Sophanem in it at some point, and it isn't desert related. We know Safalaan is off wandering the lands outside of Morytania.

What if she's working on Myreque and we meet him in Sophanem for some reason?
Probably just wishful thinking though. You never were our brightest star, Khazard. 'Vermin slaughtered like lambs'? What does that even mean?
