Mod Ana are you making the quest where we learn how new gods are made and is Drakan the new god?

The decaying tomb from Branches of Darkmeyer just got a LOT more interesting! I think it warrants discussion.

The god of vampyres. Wow, that'll be something. Let's see, there's the apes, the scarabs, crocodiles, goblins (is Bandos related?), mahjarrat, elves, humans (there's quite a lot actually)... that's all I got.

What a night! I didn't listen to the podcast myself, but I've looked at Trevorghost's thread for information.
The idea of Drakan chasing godhood is certainly plausible, especially since daeyalt ore and the Stone of Jas are linked. Also, why didn't any of us think about Drakan being active outside of the castle?
Perhaps Safalaan is going to Vampyrium? Perhaps Drakan is already there? Perhaps Vanescula is after godhood herself?

Do you think this Daeyalt stuff was part of Tytn's original plan? The Stone of Jas's connections to Morytania was heavily hinted in While Guthix Sleeps, so it's certainly possible... You never were our brightest star, Khazard. 'Vermin slaughtered like lambs'? What does that even mean?

We didn't think Drakan was outside the castle because Vanescula told us he was inside, which means Vanescula lied to us. Not shocking, but that's pretty significant because the one who gains the most from this lie would be Drakan, who would be able to safely work outside of the castle without us trying to find him, hinting that Vanescula is on his side.
I'm guessing that Zamoraks Bane is the Stone of Jas after all.

Zamorak's Bane isn't a thing. It is an expression. Like damn. Though I wish some J mod would say that it is an expression so people believe me.
Edit: dunno how iPad mucked up though so much.
