A wild vampire, eh? Welcome aboard then, it's been a while since I've seen another around here that wasn't Drakan

Support the werewolf quest(s) runelabs suggestion! It would be closely related to, and have multiple tie ins with, the vampyre/Myreque series.
I usually don't like to look around RL, but now you got my attention. What's the search code for it (them)?

The Runelabs ID is 29247. Or you could just search 'werewolf' and the title of the suggestion is 'Werewolf Spinoff Quest(s)!
The strength of the pack is the wolf and the strength of the wolf is the pack.
"With -- gone I am weak.
My fellow -- spread and sparse.
Vamp**ium again is lost to me. I am much too weak to enter. I still sense it, Zamorak's bane.
It must be mine. The Icyene have caged me. must rest and recover."
(my take on that quote)
I like the idea that Drakan's after the Stone- but I'm not so sure he would have had access to it, unless Zamorak confided in him early on during the betrayal, which seems unlikely as Vampyres aren't famous for their trustworthiness.
Drakan's problem now is that he can't escape Morytania to pursue the stone (which up until Sliske got it, hadn't been in Morytania). Sliske's probably moved the stone far away after Dat, so he kind of missed his window of opportunity if he was going to do something.
I like the idea though. Vampyres are famous for their ambition- Vanescula wants to become Queen (or something along those lines), but Drakan, who is already king, would want something even more- godhood. Especially since he saw a companion of his ascend, I believe he would be intensely interested in godhood. Whether he'll get a chance to pursue that interest is another question.
"We call it being a hero"
^Actually, the way I figure it, Zamorak didn't necessarily have to know that Drakan had access to the stone while he had it, and if the scene of Zamorak absorbing power during DAT was anything to go by all he'd have to do is touch the stone for a few seconds to absorb what he needs before moving on anyway. Paired with the fact that Vampyres seem to be pretty good at infiltration between their mist and 'human' forms, it's not too far fetched at all to speculate that his encounters with the artifact happened under the radar during the course of the wars.
And as for godhood...I agree that it may be on the cards as far as his plans are/were concerned, but I have to ask what ascending to godhood on this world will ultimately accomplish (besides simply growing more powerful) for Drakan. Because at the time of the God Wars, I don't think he was king of anything (yet), and becoming a god would just paint a big unnecessary target on his back for the time. So unless he had another plan in mind, I'm sticking to the idea that he wanted power to ultimately take back to Vamp**ium for whatever reason.

Drakan pursuing godhood would be insufferably lame. That path was taken with the Rise of Lucien trilogy, and copying the plot (find SoJ go become a god) would just be cheesy. I'd rather the rock he was obsessing with wasn't the Stone.
The only thing that puts the Stone in Morytania is Movario's notes, written by Tytn. He might have intended something, but we'll have to wait to find out.

I actually think it was confirmed at Runefest about 2 years back that the rock he's obsessed with was the Stone. Which makes just as much sense as the rock being Daeyalt at this rate I guess. But for what its worth, I also remember Lucien being Nomad's big evil master was 'confirmed' canon before DAT so take that as you will >_>
Regardless, I don't think godhood would even be an endgame goal for Drakan as it is. Might be a stepping stone to something else, but not
the
plan itself. After all, why would someone want godhood as long as they're stuck behind the salve barrier? Godhood might let him break it, but in that case he'll also have a giant freaking target on his head thanks to Sliske's game and a few other gods deciding that a Vampyre god and its horde is a threat to everything else once they're no longer contained.
Now I'm seriously getting the feeling there's something with this whole thing we're not seeing >_<

That snake wasn't only person to stalk you with and object. I see most of you still carry that medallion with you as you make your trek... They're just bored as Sliske, aren't they?
Fortunately she's still in the same building so Mod Srowl*y could theoretically hop over to ask for help. Reckon he's the new Myreque curator?

Now I'm scared that the Myreque quest will end up like Salt in the Wound. With Elder Gods forced in for no reason and Drakan being crushed by the Blisterwood Tree.
