The SoJ and daeyalt are linked. However, look what I managed to trawl off twitter, thanks to Fswe1's far-reaching hunt for knowledge:
Mod Ana: @Fswe1 Oh, daeyalt ore will still be featured and is still important in Morytania - but it won't be a major theme of the future storyline.
Neither will the edicts group. So what does that leave us with?
lol ... just had a thought:
From a Journal Entry of Drakan Researcher
Centuries of Lord Drakan's obsessive search for a use on the strange material has proven fruitless.
The only beneficial uses of it so far are to:
- throw the unrefined ore at someone and hope it hits them in the head
- smelt it into a crude bar and throw the bar at someone
we only have the slaves mine the material as a means of furthering their torment and giving them something to do to avoid causing more trouble
I can only hope that the citizens of the city do not learn that the entire infrastructure is built up on the ground up ore and bars of this worthless metal.
It makes for a rather pitiful building material, but we have to dump it somewhere ...

Yes ... the Stone of Jas is an immensely powerful artifact capable of doing many wondrous things.
- create essence
- transfer knowledge
- allow a user to perform insane fetes of magic such as healing someone from near death or vaporizing a continent
- merely touching it can grant an extreme temporary boost in power
Even leaving it in a spot will leave trace amount of powers bouncing off the walls for years to come ...
No one ever said that ALL of the side effects had to be 'useful'
The ballbrick is outcome of quite high temperature produced in ze void, by dem elda beings. From it one may, if skillful on the subject, draw outta any type of materia they so desire. Keenly enuf, originel ownership used it to produce what looks laika random masses moulded into a globe, let to randomize the outcomes completely. In hope for what? Idno--but dis i kno! Daeyalt is deatiful.

From the sound of the bts, this big spider eats Vampyres...
Wonder where he could hide in Morytania though...
- I'm not so sure the Spider actually eats them (though I wouldn't be surprised) as opposed to it just being a way of saying it's really tough and lives in Morytania.
-Who's the big bad in Morytania?
-Vampyres
-This Spider lives there and scares them
-RUN IN TERROR
That kind of idea.
Also, if I had to guess, I would say the forested (otherwise empty) area east of Meryditch and south of Darkmeyer.
However, they could really put it just about anywhere, since all it has to be is a tiny hole or cave entrance to an instanced lair (which it probably will be).
Another good possibility is the haunted woods, near a Lodestone, since that increases accsesability.
